I like the shape and the modern feel of this book shelf - however the quality of the product leaves something to be desired. The enameled finish was applied over a skeleton of wood that was not even or crafted to be cohesive and seamless. In several spots there are deep and wide joinery marks where the piece was assembled to create the "fishbone" but it was not properly planed or puttied to create a flush surface for the enamel-enamel shows every ding and cavern. There are also several spots where the enamel is smudged and rough. It is possible that I got the one piece that was not inspected before it left the factory but be warned its an expensive botched job. Great design, bad craftsmanship.

I loved the unique look of this piece and the bright white color so I decided to try it out. The shelf has a lot of small defects and flaws and I would probably return it if it wasn't such a hassle. The one good thing about this shelf is there is NO assembly required.
