FireGlo helps create the perfect ambiance for your decorative fireplace or gel burner. An alcohol based gel fuel, FireGlo provides genuine flames and a realistic crackling sound. It is soot free, has no odor, and does not emit any smoke or toxic fumes. Each can burns for 2-3 hours, and can be reused until empty. Each can has the manufactured date stamped on the lid. The fuel will maintain its gel consistency for 12 months past this date before returning to liquid state. Once gel reaches liquid state it is still usable, but caution must be used to prevent spilling.

WARNING: Label must be removed before burning.

Love It !

tlc927 from Land O' Lakes, FL, Dec 23, 2009

I love this product. I have a screened patio and wanted the ambiance of a fireplace between the sitting and dining area so I purchased a wall mount fireplace (also from overstock) that uses gel. When lit you get a really nice fire (I use 3 cans at a time) and it makes a crackling sound like a wood fire would provide without the smoke or fumes. I get about 3-4 hrs of burn time if left on continuously but you can burn for an hour, cover then reuse later if you prefer. I also like the fact that these (unlike others I've purchased) do not have a label on the can that you have to peel off before using.

fire glo fuel and fireplace

polese from Boise, Idaho, Sep 10, 2009

as an appreciative customer of overstock.com products - i purchased a ventless fireplace...the information i received at time of purchase was accurate and the instruction for assembly was understandable....the fuel gel that is used in this fireplace is easy to handle and burns just as clean and odor free as advertized...i live in a small home in Idaho...the winters are very cold at times....i use my fireplace with its fuel gel to bring ambiance and comfort to my home...i use two cans of fuel gel and it warms my living room and kitchen reducing the setting on my thermostat...often in Idaho we have 'no fireplace' use regulation due to severe atmosphereic pressures; i do not fall into that category with this fireplace as it does not release residue in the air...i love my fireplace and its fuel gel, i would recommend these products without reservation......

fire-glo gel

mad3 from NJ in mother-in-law suite, Feb 7, 2010

excellent product - lots of heat, no smell, but rather expensive - I use it more for the heat than for the looks but it can really costly to use every day with someone else controlling your heat in your area.

This is it!

Before this I couldn't find this product in town and used sterno cans instead. Fireglo makes a beautiful and long lasting fire that is better than a wooden one.....no messy ashes to clean up!

Good Product/Terrible Burnout

natfan from DC, Jan 29, 2010

This product gives off heat and has a nice appearance, which is good. But, the downside to this is when you out the fuel fire. A nasty burning alcohol smell comes from the smoke. This causes a lot of work for me because my smoke alarm goes off and I have to end up opening the window for a while. Then I have to remind myself to close it. For an outdoor makeshift fireplace, this works. For indoors, not so much.
