Finial Satin Nickel Shower Rod and Hook Set

This product looked great in the beginning and still functions properly, but after just a month of use the satin nickel finish is really wearing off the curtain rod. I've purchased many things from Overstock for a recent home renovation, being very satisfied with everything but this. I would not recommend purchasing this product.

I love the look of the shower rod and hooks. It is all good quality materials and the design is lovely. The only thing I would say is because it has the adjustable joint, the hooks don't slide as easily back and forth across the rod as I would like and sometimes they actually fall off when sliding across. However, this is something that goes with this kind of rod I think.

This is a very attractive shower rod that is easy to install. It is not a solid srew in fixture, but is mounted by extending the rod until pressure holds it in place. A rather important detail not mentioned in the ad. The shower hooks are good quality that match the rod nicely. I would only recommend this shower rod if you are looking for this type of installation.

The Rod installs easily, looks great and the quality seems very durable. The hooks look great, but seem to catch on the larger diameter rod when sliding from the smaller diameter rod to the larger in spite of the plastic spacer that fills the space between the two rods. My sense is the hooks might benefit from rollers or a larger guage stock for the hook. It hasn't snagged so far, but just offers more resistance than I expected.

The shower rod was such a bargin....the quality is high and it looks solid and expensive. The shower curtain that I purchased was of high quality and works well. The color was a bit lighter than I anticipated, but worked out better! I am more than happy with my purchases....keep checking Overstock website for more bargins.
