File Cabinets

A file cabinet is one of the most important pieces of home office furniture you can have. Not only do they help keep you organized, but they are available in multiple styles and designs to help you make the most of your space. From wooden to metal cabinets, lateral to overfile, it's easy to stay organized in whatever style helps you focus and feel productive.
If space is at a premium in your home office, use vertical file cabinets. The vertical cabinets are designed to fit into tight spaces and pack order into every cubic inch. For big projects with lots of paperwork, try a lateral file cabinet. They feature heavy-duty construction, are easy to access, and are designed to support massive storage. If your home office stores documents in binders and books, check out an overfile cabinet. They give you the storage space and shelving required to keep all your binders in order and easily accessible.
Most offices need space for legal-size documents, so you may want to look into a legal filing cabinet. If yours is an office that's proud of its stately appearance, find a wooden file cabinet in solid oak or cherry veneer to match your decor; dark wood file cabinets add a professional feel to any room. If your growing office puts a premium on efficiency and individual office storage, check out two-drawer metal filing cabinets, designed especially for personal use. If your office exudes a contemporary feel, glass-front file cabinets reflect the clean, simple lines of modern furniture.
Some file cabinets and file carts feature caster wheels, making it easy for the office that's on the move to make an organized impression. At the other end of the spectrum, unassuming drawer file cabinets have a space for fax machines, printers, rotary files, and other office essentials to create an all-in-one organization station.

Impressed with the finish and construction. Was surprised when it came knocked down - the "visual" instructions were easy. It took approximately 1.5 hours to put the 1st on together and about 35 minutes for the second. I am using them with a countertop on top and they are perfectly level...I sell furniture and the value on these file cabinets is very good for the price.

  • Bradley 2 drawer filing cabinet

    pennyod  from Athol, Ma., Rating:5.0

I would recommend this filing cabinet if you are looking for a 2 drawer cabinet but would like something nicer looking than a metal file. It does need to be put together but the directions were very clear and I was able to do it without any assistance from my husband. It took a little patience, but it comes out nice. The drawers open smoothly and there is plenty of room I am using this file in a home office and I am very happy with my purchase.

  • file folders SIDEWAYS?

    Sep 10, 2014

mrsbinca  from near the beach in CA, Rating:2.0

I guess I didn't do my research, but it claims the drawers are for files. But they only fit SIDEWAYS, and the drawers don't pull out all the way to fit them in. BAD DESIGN.

  • Really nice office addition

    Dec 23, 2014

    sr3788 Rating:4.0

It is just as pictured & matches our other office furniture perfectly. Other reviews complained about the actual filing cabinet functionality, which I have to agree on. The table looks great but does not function very well. I think someone was sleeping on the job when they designed that part. In order to take out folders you sometimes have to remove the whole drawer, if not you have to bend and twist and hope your files don't fall out all over the place. It does hang letter sized folders which is great, but they should have had a little bit of spacing in the back for ease of use. That is my only complaint though and the reason for my 4 stars.

  • Product quality degraded.

    Nov 4, 2014

Mori  from La Crescenta, CA, Rating:2.0

I actually own two of these. First one I ordered couple of months ago had much better quality in material quality and precision (for location of pre-drilled holes). One I recently ordered and received, quality of product degraded a lot. MDF quality is worse than before, and some of pre-drilled holes don't align at all and I ended up modifying location of holes by myself with tools. This will be my last purchase for this product.
