The lamp definitely makes a statement -- it fits perfectly on my night stands, because my tables are not very high and these lamps stand tall.The lamp was very easy to piece together and you just can't beat the price. These lamps exceeded my expectations. We purchased two for our den. Very nice. Quality. Great look and adds texture to our room that we needed with the leaf look of the base and the unique shade.

the lamp fits perfectly in our new room. the color is a deeper brown than i thought but goes with our new chocolate drapes. it is tall so measure where you want it and know it stands out in room. better for a large room than small.

I recently purchased this lamp as it is the perfect accent to my "African Jungle" bedroom. It is high quality, looks much more expensive than it was and it just seems to pull the room together. I was going to replace the shade, but wasn't happy with any of the ones I tried, so I'm keeping the one that came with it. I did replace the top piece (don't know what it's called, maybe a finial?) with a solid brown one from another lamp as I thought the one that matched the base was a little too much. I would definitely recommend this lamp to anyone looking for a punch of interest in a room.

I purchased 2 of these lamps for my living room and they are just gorgeous. I received one cracked during shipment, but overstock was very good about replacing and received my replacement a few days later. The only thing I was thinking that the base was more round and in fact it is oval.That didn't matter much at all when you look at the beauty of the lamp. I love these they really make my living room look great, can't stop looking at them. Great lamps for a great price.

I am really impressed with Overstock's lamps. This is my third set now. This lamp would have cost me over double locally or at my other online sources. It arrived looking as pictured. It's a nice quality lamp for the price. Much better than I would get at my local home improvement centers and much less expensive than the nice anchor dept stores at the mall. I did not find it at all difficult to put together. I wanted gold and it is. My only caution would be that if you want something subtly gold or with just a touch of gold, this is not it.

This is a great ethnic looking lamp. i love the shades. the lamp is tall, but the bottom is very intricate looking and nice to look at, but you will need a larger table to put it on as the tallness of the lamp overshadows a small end table. if your decor is quirky and ethnic. get this lamp you will be HAPPY. alittle harder to put together so 4 stars.

This lamp was exactly what it appeared to be. It's made well and I can't believe I got it for that price. It is taller than I thought but it's the measurements that were given. I'm glad it's tall.
