Got this as a Christmas present for my gf. She collects Fiesta. I was surprised to see the tray is made of plastic, but it's heavy duty plastic. I can understand why.. She has some large Fiesta plates, and those things weigh a ton, so I the tray being made of light plastic is probably a good thing.

plastic tray
it's a good serving platter and it's nice and light so i can put a lot on it, i have used it for meat and fruit and cheese. I was not expecting it to be plastic but, it's good b/c it's light. Good purchase but wouldn't buy it again

Guess I didn't read the details carefully enough because this platter is plastic. It is a nice size but it looks cheap. I guess it will be nice to use both outdoors and inside.

Fiesta Platter/Tray
We use Fiesta ware for everyday. We have a place setting in each color. The tray is perfect for just about anything .....passing around cookies, cakes, setting tea cakes and sandwiches on. Using as a bread/roll plate, using for a veggie platter and dip. We really like it.
