I ordered this umbrella because I wanted something to carry us over until we were ready to purchase a whole new patio furniture set. The set we have is 11 years old but was quite expensive and is still in great condition except for the umbrella, which was not part of the original set. Our current set is white but I was unable to find anything to match that so had to settle for what was available. This one is either a very dark brown or black. That's the only part I don't like about it, but has nothing to do with the quality of the umbrella. The fabric is much nicer than expected (I'm pretty sure it's Sunbrella) and the tilt feature works well. The umbrella is well constructed and everything works. I can't believe what a good deal this was!

Beautiful umbrella! The blue color is so pretty and looks great with my pool. Love the tilt option and the crank. This is a very high quality umbrella.

Had to make a number of phone calls for instructions on using the tilt. To help others, just open to full, turn the ring on the pole to tilt.

It is lighter than expected. Even after being securely anchored in a heavy base and the umbrella folded, a strong gust of wind knocked it over. No damage done. Love the tilt feature!

The umbrella was beautiful, sturdy and easy to use. I had to put it through the center of my patio table, but because it has no base, it keeps tilting and falling over. I have ordered an umbrella base from overstock and am waiting to get it. I bought the orange umbrella (found it by searching for orange) and while I love the red umbrella I received (it looks beautiful the flower garden surroundings of my patio), it is NOT the orange I expected.The fabric is beautiful and the crank is easy to use, but I would have liked to know when I placed the order that I needed a base as well.

Sturdy and large. The only minor complaint is that it doesn't come with instructions, so I had to find the company online to realize that, in order to make the umbrella tilt, you had to turn something on the pole.

We ordered two of these in the beige color about 3 weeks ago and am using one as a free standing umbrella over a chaise lounge and the other in a table. They look fine, nothing fancy, unobtrusive. I recommend closing them when not in use, because they are rather lightweight. So far, they are holding up just fine.
