This umbrella is very thin fabric, nothing like the Sunbrella fabric of better quality patio umbrellas. The metal post bent to one side when umbrella was raised. But my reason for return, was that on second usage, the cord unraveled on the pully at top of umbrella. The cord was so bunched up, the umbrella could not be raised or lowered. I had to untie the cord at umbrella base to get it down, back into box for return. But, note, the customer service people were super, and sent UPS return tag, said they would credit my acct,and were very courteous and helpful. Because of their excellent service, I will continue to buy from Overstock.com.
