What a difference beautiful drapery can make in a home. These curtain panels are so elegant and rich in color. They drape beautifully. We hung them in our bedroom, and every morning when I open my eyes I feel like I'm in a luxury hotel!Read More
These look so elegant - heavy panels look like high end/expensive panels. The lining is great for blocking sunlight in the morning - I was concerned for this thinking I needed black out panels, but these come with two layers of lining. Love the color- I thought true to website pictureRead More
Very well made with interlining and lining. Really looks like Silk. Needed pressing. Be careful pressing and do not use steam, just a warm iron. Color description Fern Green is good. They are a medium to dark Fern Green and looks great with peacock colors Navy Blue and Teal. They are very expensive looking. My windows were 101" long and I turned the hem under on the floor to make them pouf and they look great. You can either use the hooks that are supplied with the fabric tape on back or slide them on the rod for a gathered look.Read More
very expensive look and feel ,included color and style- love themRead More
The color name, fern green, seemed to confuse some of the people who wrote reviews, but the color in the photo is exactly the color of the curtains. They are great! It is a bright green, but not garish at all. The fabric is a good quality faux silk taffeta and the lining is a nice medium weight. They have shirring/gathering tape on the back at the top, so I gathered the curtain with the tape (you pull a string and it gathers to your desired tightness) and then used curtain rings with clips to hang them just below the rod. I don't plan on opening and closing them so this looks great! I sew and could not have made them for the cost of buying them. I love them, and I am picky!Read More
I have been looking for this exact color for so long, but couldn't find it anywhere else. It goes my whole living room color concept. Looks gorgeous with sheer panels in the back! These curtains are very thick, light=blocking and very elegant.Read More
Love these drapery panels!!!!!! For the price.......you can't beat this product!Read More
We love these drapes! They are slightly darker in our living room because we only have the one large window (it is a townhome) so light does not shine on them directly. They look very elegant and have created a much more modern look for us. I hung from a bronze rod with matching rings, using drapery hooks (not clips). The description didn't mention that there are gathering strings at the top if you wish to use them (we didn't). They did need to be pressed (unlike another reviewer's, ours came tightly folded in plastic bags so many creases!). But a moderate iron did the trick and did not damage the fabric. Overall, we're very pleased.Read More
I ordered these panels for my bedroom to match a fabric I feel in love with about 6 months ago. The sheen of the taffeta gives alot of depth to the greens so it blends perfectly with my fabric. I am so pleased with these curtain panels.Read More

do these curtains have a white back?
Hi moiesha, These curtains are the same on both sides. Thank you for shopping with us.
If I choose to hang them with curtain rings like one of the pictures in the illustrations, can I open and close them easily? Because this is what I am looking for in curtains.
Hi curtaincurious, these curtains will slide easily with the rings although if you decide to have them pool/puddle they won't slide as easily. I hope this helps, thanks for shopping with us.
How to Adjust Tension Rods
Curtains are a great way to accent the decor in every room in the house. Tension rods, also called spring rods, are curtain hardware which allow you to hang window curtains, wall curtains or shower curtains without installing curtain rod hardware on the walls. If an existing tension rod slips or if you want to change the curtain panels or add curtain rings, you may need to remove and adjust the rod before putting it back in place. Tension rods are positioned between two facing surfaces, such as the interior frame of a window or the opposing sides of a shower cubicle.
How to Hang a Valance and Curtains
Hanging a valance and curtains over your window will add dimension, texture and style to any room. Window curtains with a valance give your window treatments a finished, designer look. If you want to block out light, a valance and full-length blackout panel curtain is your best choice. If you are more interested in decoration and only need to block minimal light, then a valance over sheer curtains is a good choice. It's important to measure the window and decide what type of curtains you want before you buy the curtain hardware. A cafe rod will be sufficient to support a sheer curtain, but you will need a stronger curtain rod to support heavier fabrics such as blackout panels. Also, the larger the window, the sturdier the curtain rod will need to be.
How to Install Blackout Curtains
Blackout curtains can keep a room cool and dark even when it's bright and sunny outside. A completely dark room is a wonderful thing if you have a job that requires you to work all night or even if you just want a dark room for watching a movie when it's light outside. In addition, blackout window treatments help you conserve energy by keeping heat in and cold out or vice versa. You have two choices when it comes to installing blackout curtains: You can buy curtains that come with blackout liners already sewn in, or you can add panels of blackout fabric to the curtains you already own.

Formal living rooms need something more than a standard curtain rod to exude elegance and timelessness. You can have the most luxurious couches and elaborate wall art, but without the right window treatments, the room will still feel bare. The best curtain fabric to hang in living rooms is typically something heavy, with a sheen, like damask or silk. These weighty textiles need equally strong hardware to balance the look. Here are the best curtain hardware styles for your formal living room.
