being a traveling nurse I'm all over the country. different housing every time. my comfort is improtant to me. In the cold weather I'm enduring on this assignment I couldn't be more pleased sleep is of upmost importance to me. with this comforter I'ts warm softer than aanything down I have ever used. I give it an A+.

My son came to say with me for a few months and during that time the weather changed. Sometimes we have 80 degree Decembers in California, this year our fall and winter season started early. I didn't have anything warm enough for him to sleep under at night. So, I thought I would by an inexpensive something from Overstock and I brought this comforter.Even though I puchased it for my son, I cannot stay from under this comforter. It is not too warm and definitely keeps the cold out. It is so very comfortable, I have not been able to stay from under it. I would definitely recommend this purchase.Actually, I purchasing another for Me!
I was on a cruise and slept under a nice & cozy down comforter & needed to get one. I expected something similar than the one on the cruise but it was nothing like it. I did love the blue & tan. The blue was a nice steel blue & the tan was your average tan. I pulled it out of the box & it had a slight chemical smell but not too bad. To my dissapointment it was the noisy paper type fabric. I spread it out over my big round couch and me & my daughter covered ourselves. Although it was a lot thinner & lighter than I thought it was going to be, it did keep us warm and the temp was in the 50's. It would not be warm enough in the 20's. Unfortunately I had a slight allergic reaction to the blanket (throat got very scratchy) so I had to get out from under it. My Daughter & Husband loved it and fought over it until my Daughter won & it went on her bed. My hubby loves the crunchy, stiff, starchy fabric...I don't. My daughter just loved how warm it was. I ordered the king size & on her queen it had nice over hang.
Not the color of the picture, but it does the job I needed it to do. Lightweight and comfortable.
really a great value for the money. I got this for my daughter's college apartment, and she was very happy with the warmth, even though it is feather/down and all our home comforters are down. We are in Boulder, CO, and her apartment is generally fairly cold (to save on utilities), but this comforter with an electric blanket and flannel sheets have kept her very cozy. Btw, we "aired" the comforter out at our house for several days before taking it to her place, and I never noticed an odor of any kind. It is also a very attractive comforter.
