Faux-wood 2-inch Blinds (35 in x 64 in)

These blinds were took average effort to hang. Look like real wood.

These blinds are bowed in the middle and so far I've not found a way to correct that problem. We trimmed them on each side to fit the window exactly so the are not touching the window casing - that is not the problem. Don't know what it is. I'd say these are adequate but if you watch the sales at XXXXX you could get better blinds for the same price -- and they'll cut them for you!

Although you can find white faux-wood blinds in discount stores fairly easily and for almost the same price (a few dollars more perhaps), I like that these have pull strings and not the twist-rod for opening and closing the slats (twist-rods always somehow end up broken). Also, the top part is metal, while other ones I've seen at this price are plastic at the top. One of the 6 I ordered did have a loose guide piece at the top of the cord mechanism but it doesn't actually affect operation...if that makes sense. And, they are delivered straight to your door...much better than going out and getting 6 blinds from the store (if they would even have enough in stock) to outfit your house. A few quirks with some of the hardware here and there but overall no actual problems and they look and function great.

These blind are a significant amount less expensive than those at big box stores. I bought one blind to see if they were easy to install, and make sure the slats would not sag. So far, so good! I am very pleased and will order more for all windows. Shipping was lightning fast as well.
