Faux Wood 45 3/4-inch Blinds

Very happy with purchase! Have the faux wood blinds in my living room and love them so decided to put them in my bedroom. Bought ascot valances and with valances and blinds combined gives the room an elegant and romantic look!

I have custom wood and honeycomb blinds throughout my house. The wood blinds I love, the honeycomb not so much. When the cat ripped the honeycomb blinds in my son's room, I thought I'd have to order custom blinds again. But then I found these on Overstock - almost the exact size that I needed. I measured the window opening to be 45-3/4 (W) x 55 (L). The length on these, by the way, are adjustable, but I didn't need to adjust them at all. They arrived just days after placing the order and look just like the custom wood blinds that I already have throughout the rest of the house. They are gorgeous! Though the instructions took some time to figure out, once I got started, it took no time at all to hang them. The only downfall for me is that I measured the window across the bottom (where I could easily reach to measure). I should have stood on the bed and measured across the top too because the inside of the window sill itself is slightly smaller across the top than at the bottom so the blinds were just a wee-bit too wide to fit inside mounted. (I tried to make them fit, but to no avail!) I had to hang them as outside mounted just above the window opening, but they still look really nice and the length was great. They make the whole room look brighter and clean.
