Mounting brackets add approximately 1/2 inch to headrail width when installed. If you are mounting inside the window casing please subtract 1/2 inch to 1 inch from the measurement to ensure the blinds will fit properly. Also, please note that the valance is 2 inches wider than the blinds.

works for the office
I would buy these again if I needed to. On my first order, one set was an 1/8 too long. I returned it and the company promptly sent the right size. I also ordered white but the second set arrived a bit off white. I didn't realize the difference until my first return arrived. I called the company and they sent a new set and paid for the return. The only issue I have with the blinds - the pull cord seems to get stuck in the mechanisms. Luckily I don't have to use them very much. I would worry they would break sooner than the life line of the actual blinds.

BEAUTIFUL WINDOW COVERINGS
I would highly recommend these blinds. Beautiful "crown molding" header truly makes me wonder whether I'll hang my curtains back up! Great Overstock purchase! I bought a new home and installed these throughout (7 sets in a variety of sizes). All are great.
