Mounting brackets add approximately 1/2 inch to headrail width when installed. If you are mounting inside the window casing please subtract 1/2 inch to 1 inch from the measurement to ensure the blinds will fit properly. Also, please note that the valance is 2 inches wider than the blinds.

Excellent faux wood blinds
This was the first time I purchased blinds without first looking at them in person. It turned out to be a very good choice and we were very impressed with the instructions,the nuts and bolts of the hardware, and the quality of the materials. They covered my windows as closely as the custom blinds before. I would recommend these blinds and even purchase again.
