I bought a king sized canopy bed from overstock for the master bedroom in a beach house. I wanted to add drapes on the sides because the room is right off the foyer. Due to the construction of the bed, they had to be tie top and 84" long. These fit the bill perfectly and have the airy feel to them appropriate for a beach house.Read More
These are very nice! I wanted white but couldn't find any I liked but they are just sheer enough to look white next to my white window trim. Classy and casual at the same time.Read More
Light, airy and height adjustable due to the ties at the top. They bring a new, fresh look to our living room and are great quality too. I am going back to buy 3 more sets to put in our breakfast nook. The best part is my husband likes them too and he is very picky!Read More
The website picture says white panels with tie tops. What I received was white with tan panels with grommets! (at least the picture on the packaging shows grommets). I double checked my order item number with the item number received, and the numbers are the same, but the products are very different. In any event, they will be going back...if I'd wanted white with tan, I would have ordered it! I rated the product as average only because it wouldn't let me submit my comments otherwise. In actuality, I never took the panels out of the packaging to really look them over.Read More
I love these curtains, they have a soft look and the pattern is pretty but subtle. They are more sheer than I expected, so I added simple voile sheers behind to give more privacy.Read More

How to Measure for Curtains
Curtains add privacy and style to a room, but before you buy a set, you'll need to know which size is right. You'll find that curtains usually come in lengths of 63 inches, 84 inches, 95 inches, 108 inches, and 120 inches. The length you choose will depend on the look that you want as well as the placement of your curtain rod.
How to Adjust Tension Rods
Curtains are a great way to accent the decor in every room in the house. Tension rods, also called spring rods, are curtain hardware which allow you to hang window curtains, wall curtains or shower curtains without installing curtain rod hardware on the walls. If an existing tension rod slips or if you want to change the curtain panels or add curtain rings, you may need to remove and adjust the rod before putting it back in place. Tension rods are positioned between two facing surfaces, such as the interior frame of a window or the opposing sides of a shower cubicle.
How to Hang a Valance and Curtains
Hanging a valance and curtains over your window will add dimension, texture and style to any room. Window curtains with a valance give your window treatments a finished, designer look. If you want to block out light, a valance and full-length blackout panel curtain is your best choice. If you are more interested in decoration and only need to block minimal light, then a valance over sheer curtains is a good choice. It's important to measure the window and decide what type of curtains you want before you buy the curtain hardware. A cafe rod will be sufficient to support a sheer curtain, but you will need a stronger curtain rod to support heavier fabrics such as blackout panels. Also, the larger the window, the sturdier the curtain rod will need to be.
How to Create a Bishop's Sleeve Window Treatment
A bishop's sleeve window treatment is a single curtain panel that has been tied in several places to make it look like the billowing sleeve seen on formal bishop's sleeve blouses, which is fuller at the top and gathered at the end. A bishop's sleeve window treatment looks best in formal living rooms or dining rooms and can be done easily using curtains you already have. You can create this look yourself in a matter of minutes.

Blackout curtains can keep a room cool and dark even when it's bright and sunny outside. In addition, blackout window treatments help you conserve energy by keeping heat in and cold out or vice versa. You have two choices when it comes to installing blackout curtains: You can buy curtains that come with blackout liners already sewn in, or you can add panels of blackout fabric to the curtains you already own.

Best Reasons to Have a California King Bed
Similar in size to a standard king bed, a California king bed is four inches longer, allowing a lot of extra room top to bottom. A California king bed measures 72 inches wide and 84 inches long, and a standard king mattress measures 76 inches wide and 80 inches long, so while a California king mattress is four inches longer, it is also about four inches thinner than a standard king bed. Making a decision between the two might be difficult. Ultimately, both are great options, but there are a few conditions that might make a California king size bed the clear choice.
