Faux Leather Cabinet

This item came fully assembled, which was nice. It looks very nice and was as described and expected. We got the solid brown one and like everything about it... except the quality of the packaging from Overstock. There was NO padding in the box -- all they did was wrap the faux leather part of the cabinet with some thin plastic-like protective sheet. It did not cover the wood on the bottom, and the design of the cabinet has a curve at the base there, so for the entire time it shipped that curve scraped and bumped against the box it was in. When we took it out of the box, the paint was all chipped off down there. It's not worth the money to ship this heavy item back, plus the deduction we'd no doubt face for returning an item "we" damaged, so we're figuring out how to make it work. Just frustrating that a tiny bit more foresight (seriously, using some of the protective wrap they used up above would have likely prevented the problem below) would have kept this very nice cabinet in pristine shape. Overall, I would recommend this cabinet to anyone considering it -- it was all we hoped it would be and looks a lot more expensive than what you pay for it.
