IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A HOUNDSTOOTH BLANKET THAT IS SYMBOLIC OF THE ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE, THIS IS NOT IT. THE AD SAYS THIS IS A FRINGED BLANKET IN BLACK AND WHITE. IT IS ACTUALLY BLACK AND BEIGE AND IS A THROW INSTEAD OF A BLANKET.

Houds Tooth Throw

I ordered the throw for my daughter. She lives in Alabama and is an Alabama Crimson Tide fan. The black and white hounds tooth has been used since the famous coach Bear Bryant, symbolic of being a fan of the team. She loves it.

not white, but still nice

made of a very soft non-itchy merino wool, this throw is beautiful.only issue: the white parts of the pattern are not white, but a warm cream. those looking for stark white, keep looking.I love it anyway.

The wool throw is very nice -- I would definitely recommend purchasing it or other products from Overstock.com. The throw itself has a nice feel -- soft yet warm. The houndstooth pattern is perfect for the room I was redecorating (my Husband's study with a racing motif). The size is good, too.

Great but take a look at the dimensions

I love, love, love houndstooth, so it just seemed natural to purchase this blanket when I saw it. It is a beautiful blanket, very warm and cozy, but it is smaller than my other throws. Take a look at the dimensions before purchasing. It looks lovely on my black couch, definitly a new staple in my houndstooth home!
