Great as a backup travel mug.
This is a good, sturdy -- albeit very basic -- travel mug. It is not vaccum-sealed, which means that it is NOT spill proof. The body is lightweight and keeps beverages hot; the lid is kind of flimsy, but it does the trick. I purchased these mugs as backup travel mugs, but I would be very sorry if these were the only mugs I had. My suggestion is to invest another $5-8 per mug and get a vacuum-sealed, spill proof, top-o'-the-line travel mug. The color is pretty cool, though!
