The coffee pot makes wonderful coffee. It is made with quality material and when you pour a cup of coffee you do not get coffee grinds in your cup. I would recommend this coffee pot very highyl.

I love the coffee maker that I purchased. I wanted to see if the taste was different, but have not found that to be so....but I still love the fact that it doesn't take of so much counter space and really can be put away and stored very easily. I also like the fact that I can keep it plugged in as long as I want with no turn off time.

I purchased this for my mother. She uses is every day and loves the perking. She says it makes her coffee taste better.

I am not a big fan of the coffe machines. Accidents over the years left me without a pot. But, this item is practical. I have always liked these pots since my mother had one years ago. It keeps the coffe hot. It brews the life out of the coffee because the hot liquid keeps circulating, unlike the one pass in the coffee machines. It doesm't take up much space on the counter and it looks good standing there. Additionally, if you should run out of coffee, you could re-use the grounds in an emergency because of the process! Should you need to reheat the coffee, you just plug it in, unlike having to fill a cup and nuke it with a coffee maker. And ithe pot looks good when you take it to the table.

I enjoy this percolator. It's quick, and makes a good cup of coffee. Capacity to serve up to 12 cups is a plus. Would like it even better if it had an automatic turn-off at a set time. Otherwise, a very good product.

I use this percolator daily and am very happy with it. This is not my first percolator. I prefer the percolator compared to a drip coffee maker. This is a great addition to any kitchen. I shopped around before I made this purchase and found Overstock.com had the best price. I have to say that overall this is a great product.

I agree with other reviews as this is the best cup of true hot coffee ever. My grandmother used an electric perc and trust me it is no slower than all those fancy "drip" systems. Trust me! This makes it fast and simple but the water boils from bottom up and gets better flavor out of the beans. Oh, and forget fancy grinding etc...just buy your favorite grind at the grocery store. It is hot coffee....so yes, Mr Coffee....please consider making an old fashion percolator or just retire.

This is the WORST Farberware Coffee Percolator I have ever had -- it SPURTS rather than pours. It is used at our vacation house and it is TERRIBLE. I followed all the directions: wet the basket, used coffee filters. Sometimes the coffee is hot -- othertimes it is cold. The pot REPERKS. I HAVE USED FARBERWARE PERCOLATORS FOR MANY YEARS -- THIS PARTICULAR POT IS AWFUL. Although this is expensive, Farberware has been worth it -- UNTIL NOW.

I do brunch for my family almost every weekend, and needed a way to keep the coffee hot and flowing. This works like a dream. Very 50s and fun. great coffee. I don't use for evry day though......a bit more work than my mr coffee.

You can always depend on a Faberware product. Makes coffee quick and keeps it hot. What else can use ask for.

This is a great percolator. I didn't give it an "excellent" rating for only 1 reason. The hole for the pour spout is too small and can make the pouring of coffee very slow. Otherwise, it is a great pot. I ordered this pot because the Bunn pot (ordered 4 months ago) made coffee so fast that the flavor was lost.

this is a wonderful coffeemaker if you like really hot coffee!! However, taste is everything and percolated coffee must actually come to a boil to percolate which affects the taste. My husband loves this as he can drink a whole pot and each cup will be as hot as the first one.

I really love my new percolater! The coffee really is the hottest home brew I've had and just better tasking coffee all around. I would have given it a 5 but only because it is a bit much to add and change grounds with all the pieces and parts and no filter. I tried using one but the coffee was too weak and this machine it not meant to use one.

I never had a perculator pot bigger than 4 cups, so this was a leap for me. I find the coffee brews better in a perculator coffee pot than a drip one. It is so fast as well! I can fix the pol, jump in the shower, dry off and start shaving and then the coffee is ready. I particularly like my coffee HOT. I found that with a drip pot I always had to put my cups in the microwave Now I do not have to. There were no issues with functionality or delivery. I am happy with the purchase.

I was very disappointed with this percolator. First of all, the cord is much too short. The spout is designed in a way that it's very hard to pour the coffee out into your cup, the hole that the coffee goes through is about the diameter of a pencil and tipping the coffee pot to pour is hindered by the short cord. I kept this because our old percolator went out after about 20 years and we needed one ASAP but will be buying a different one soon and keep this for a spare,. Would not recommend this product and disappointed in Farberware for the obvious design flaw. Not overstock's fault, I still love this site and I'm sure they would have taken it back with no problem.

This is a great coffee pot for the money. It was at least 10% less than the same pot was on sale at any store. It makes great hot coffee. The only disadvantage is that there is not a light to show when the coffee is ready.

This was a gift for a friend who had complained that she couldn't find a percolator to replace the Faberware one that gave up after 30 years. She and her hubby are absolutely delighted and each time I see them they comment on how much they are enjoying it.

Our search is over for a coffee maker that produces and keeps hot coffee. The smell is divine while it percs, and it's very fast. Now we wish a manufacturer would make the filter packs with a hole in the middle that would work in a percolator. Highly recommend this for good and hot coffee.
