Pretty cool fan Good design with blade options and also quite. I've installed this fan for our master bed (8ft ceiling) and it looks great without lights. I like how it comes with different blade configurations. The light kit is a neat idea but does not work well for low-ceiling room. It's too big as an add-on for the fan, which causes the lower clearance and ruining the good look. It would be much better if comes with a much thinner profile option (LED lights). The remote has 3-speed control, a timer (great feature), and light switch. The touch screen is not very responsive and comes only one unattractive color (dark gray). I wish they make different colors for the remote. Also wish that it comes with more motor speeds (5 instead of 3). I would give it a 3.5 star because of the light kit I can't use. This fan might look a lot better in a higher ceiling installation (10ft) and that's what I would recommend for.

What is the minimum ceiling height required to install this fan?

Thank you for shopping with us ekh48. The fan is 17 inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the lights. I would think that an 8 foot ceiling would keep most people safe if they raised their hands above their head. Have a great day.
