    I LOVE this fan. It runs quietly, looks good, and you can mount the remote OVER the switch. Then you only need to hit the button to turn it on and never need to search for the remote. You can also take it off and set it next to you, which also allows you to access the switch (in case you want to cut electricity to fixture). The light is not super bright but adequate for our TV room and it's adjustable by holding down the light button. Our electrician was impressed with the fan also.

  • Can the fan be hung at varying lenghts? If yes, what is the maximum? It says the downrod is 4.5", but it looks like it is hanging lower in some of the pictures.

    • Hello ohiojen, This ceiling fan comes with a 4.5-inch downrod, but you can purchase a downrods that are compatible with this fan in differing lengths. I hope this helps, thanks for shopping with us.

    • The downrod that it comes with is small. We had to purchase a 12" downrod for our living room. The only issue is that our local home improvement stores did not carry any downrods in polished nickel. We had to order the downrod from Amazon and it was a little pricey.
