Despite reading the reviews, I was surprised at how flat and thin the comforter was when it arrived and was pretty worried that I made the wrong choice. I was looking for a comforter that was lightweight, all seasons but that still had some fluffiness. After a few days, the comforter fluffed up but still not as much as I was hoping for. Aside from the fluffiness factor, I am pleased with the comforter overall. It is definitely oversized so it fits our Eastern King pillow top mattress really well and the baffle box design keeps the distribution evenly throughout the comforter which is another advantage over our previous one. The comforter is perfect for our climate and satisfies our preferences. My husband is always too warm and I tend to be colder so the fact that this comforter works for both of us is truly amazing. We have a duvet cover so I am not concerned about whether the feathers can be seen through the fabric. If you are very committed to having a fluffy comforter, then this is definitely not the choice for you. But if that doesn't matter, you won't be dissatisfied with this purchase.

I bought this to replace my all time favorite down comforter, which had to be discarded. I never thought I would find another one as comfortable as my old one, which was the same weight, probably the same fill power, and a similar thread count. Well not at a price that I could afford.While I waited for to find a new one, I was temporarily using a very old, cheesy one that I bought many years ago. It felt like cardboard compared to the one I had just gotten rid of.Well now I am in heaven once again. Maybe even more than with the one I threw out. It is soooooooooooo soft and cuddly and weights next to nothing.I keep my duvets in duvet covers, which is a good thing. The cover is very high quality fabric with a super high thread count, which should keep the down from coming out, but it is just a plain, no big deal looking white fabric.I was very concerned that because it is over sized it would not fit into my covers, but it fits fine and perhaps ads a bit to the fluffiness.It is still chilly here as I live in Northern California, right near the beach. The warmth is perfect for now. I cannot tell what it will be like in the warmer month, but since we don't have ac here and it rarely gets too warm, it should be perfect all year round.

It has been a few weeks since receiving the comforter. It was thinner than I expected, but fairly warm. We live in Maine and I'm sure you know it's cold here. It did need an additional blanket to keep us comfortable. We have our heat set on 68. It is a nice comforter and fluffed up okay after leaving it out of the box for a day. Overall it's okay.

It's plenty warm, but the thin-ness leaves a little to be desired. It's just not as comfy and luxurious as I would want, but I haven't felt cold, either...

This is really a nice down comforter...not too heavy but very warm. My husband and I can't agree on the temp..he is always hot and I am always cold. The comforter works great because he has not complained of being too hot and I am toasty warm. Would definitely recommend this product.

Very good weight for Las Vegas. Seems thinner than some others of supposedly similar warmth, but actually consider this a "plus" since it lays flatter on the bed. Really appreciate the 108 x 98" size.

This weight is just right for cool nights, Our other 600 fill comforter was too warm for most nights. We like a cold room with window open and fan going. No odor. Perfect for people who sleep hot!

I love this blanket. I bought it in King size to make sure it was plenty big and oversized, but a Queen size may have worked as well. It is just the thing for these chilly Missouri nights. I was very pleased with this purchase.

I ordered the oversized king comforter and it fits my cal-king perfectly. While it might be too thin for some people's taste, I think it looks great and my duvet fits it like a glove. Also, very impressed with delivery time...I ordered this on Friday night (1/23) and it arrived by regular ground today (1/27).

At first I thought this comforter would be too thin. I had read all the comments left by others and decided to try it. It is thin but very warm. We keep our house about 68 at night and I am very happy. I would definitely recommend this comforter. Also it fits our duvet. Most king sized comforters are too small for our duvet but this one fills it out.

I live in South Florida and have a California king bed. I have been looking for an oversized pure down comforter for a long time that is not too heavy for the S. FLA climate. This one is perfect. The fabric is soft, the down is contained within well spaced baffles, it is not heavy but it is very warm and even though it says to dry clean only, I washed it on delicate 3 times in 2 weeks (I have 4 dogs with dirty paws) and it remained perfect. I dried it in the dryer on low for a long time to get it dry. I highly recommend it. Not sure who the "famous maker" is but it really dosn't matter. Thanks for another great product!

I bought the 1200 thread count comforter. It arrived quickly and was exactly as described. When you first take it out of the bag, it appears thin, but when you fluff it, it is plenty full. The best feature of this comforter is the warmth that it provides. You won't need another blanket and you will be able to drop your heat several degrees on the coldest night. Great value!

This Eddie Bauer comforter is awesome! I ordered the king size and it fits perfectly on our queen mattress and is so fluffy and comfortable. It's lightweight but, very warm and cozy. You feel like you're sleeping under a cloud. The best value for the money AND about half the cost of the comforters on the Ed Bauer website!

I looked for a long time for a goose down comforter. finally, I decided on this one. It keeps you wam and is lightweight. Would recomend.

This comforter is made by Eddie Bauer and is just heavy enough for South Carolina winters and even light enough for when the weather gets warmer.....Good quality.....very sturdy....would definetly by this again.

We struggled to decide which comforter to purchase and we were glad we chose this one. It's the perfect thickness and provides great warmth - especially during this long cold spell we're having this year. The fabric is soft and comfortable. We have a pillowtop king and the size is more than ample for complete coverage and then some. No more cover hogging by either of us.

I recently purchased 2 of this item. I already have a large goose-down comforter that I absolutely love but was too heavy and too hot for me. After extensive research, I decided on this comforter and I have not been disappointed. It is not as fluffy as I would have liked, but it is not at all heavy on my body yet provides me with the perfect warmth for PA winters. I am extremely pleased with my choice and the honesty of those review writers that helped me make the decision.

This comforter is on my sons bed. He says that it is very comfortable and warm. He has a queen bed but I bought the king size comforter. There's a lot of room on the sides but it's not too big. I didn't want the mattress to show on the sides and sometimes the comforters can run small so I got the king size. I'm glad I did.
