Down and feather-filled products are packed tightly during shipping. Upon receipt, remove them from their packaging, fluff gently, and allow several hours to recover their full loft. In addition, being sealed in plastic packaging sometimes causes the scent of these natural products to concentrate to a disagreeable level. A few hours of airing usually removes the odor. We recommend that this comforter is fluffed at least once a week to maintain down distribution.

This is quite the cozy comforter. Fluffs up nice and the down stays put in each section (very important to me!). Nice and warm and a generous size for our queen bed - it fills out the duvet nicely and covers our bed well.
This comforter is a disappointment. It is so heavy, you feel like you're sleeping under a slab of concrete. The fabric is rough and stiff. Too bulky to return - I'm wondering what to do with it.
My comforter arrived promptly in a nondescript plastic bag inside a battered box. I have a feeling it was a returned item, but it's in good condition. There is no Eddie Bauer label on the comforter, as other reviewers have pointed out. The only brand label on the comforter item indicates that the fabric is "outlast", so I can't vouch for it being an Eddie Bauer product. The fabric is soft and the edges of the comforter are finished well. I haven't shaken the comforter out yet, but it feels pretty puffy. Even though the size was advertised as full/queen, the label says "queen". Overall, a good value.

Nice quality comforter (Eddie Bauer). Hoped that the Outlast material would have lived up to its hype and regulated temperature a little better. The blanket still gets pretty warm (probably as warm as my regular down comforter). I paid the extra $$$ because of the Outlast material but probably could have just got a light weight down comforter and saved $50. Still, it is nice and I have no regrets with the purchase.
