Needs Tweek
Great press-- crisp, professional results, but inherent design flaw severely limits product life and causes premature failure. Main board located in overhead arm directly above heat plate. No vent ports for cooling. Main board subjected to concentrated heat, causing early failure of relays. Personally have experienced same problem with 4 units. Not fixed until main board moved away from heat plate and venting ports installed. Should be re-designed to correct this. Product otherwise would provide good service if this flaw were corrected. Otherwise you are wasting good money to purchase.

good to bad
I have had many ironing pressing machines. Singer's mostly. I purchased the Family Press in Dec 07 - great - working fine. One day I went to use it - it would not heat. Only had the machine for 13 months. Yet, the machine has a 12 month warranty. No help for the company. I had to order a part from a company in California after searching the internet for days.

easy life
since i loved it sooo much i have bought one for my best friend as a holiday gift..i have such a busy life with work and kids ,it simply makes it easier..i put the shirt, i close the top ,i keep folding...and when it ready ....it beeps ..telling me to open up....as amazing iron.....

EXCELLEN WOULD RECCOMEND TO FRIENDS. ALREADY USED IT AND IT WAS A BREEZE, HAD A TON OF CLOTHES TO IRON AND IT MADE IT A LOT EASIER AND FASTER.

It's Okay
The electronic steam press is okay and is very good for pants but not so practical for shirts, especially women shirts that are tapered. Overall we still think it was a good purchase but I do prefer to iron my shirts the old fashion way......

I simply love my Family Press Home Stream Press machine, talking about having your very own dry cleaner in the convenience of your own home. When I think of all the money I save by doing all my own clothes (jeans, shirts, ties and even curtains) as oppose to throwing money to my local dry cleaner. Than the time that I save by using the Family Press Home Stream Press as oppose to the old fashion iron and ironing board.
