Good for the money
I didn't have high hopes for this considering the great price and a few reviewers wern't too happy with this item. I've only used it once so far and I'm very happy with it! I agree that this should not be placed in the dishwasher (more for discoloration reasons) but I went ahead to sterilize it before using it. Nothing bad happened there, which was a relief. Just make sure to take it out of the dishwasher as soon as possible. Otherwise, not much else to say except it will work for what I use it for, which is mostly pasta and some steaming. I don't feel like I need a high quality pot to cook pasta so this will do the trick!

Delighted with this pot. Nice to have a steamer.
I am pleased with the product; quality, function and price. To get a better product you would need to spend a lot more money. I am sure the product will be good for 30 years! I have managed with a broken pasta cooker for 10 years or more. I like to know why for this price I did not get it sooner. Buy it sooner than later.
