    • ryobi tiller

For a small area that one has to work, this is about the best that I have found. I have tried others and they tended to bounce around a lot. the added sand chamber on this one did prevent a lot of the bouncing and my arme did not ache after I used this machine. It will be a great help around my home for all my garddening in the future.

    • Ryobi cultivator

This machine does an excellent job on small areas and small gardens. The only complaint I have is that the tines are so close to the body it catches alot of small rocks that jam the machine. I had to stop tilling several times to unjam and remove the rocks. Just a small irritation for a small tiller that does a big job.

    • Ryobi Cultivator (Refurbished)

So far I have only used the cultivator one time. I followed the starting directions and it started the first time, ran well, and did a good job of cultivating my garden. This was not new ground but I have had the garden there before. I used to turn the ground with a shovel, The cultivator is really a back saver and a time saver.

    • Good Little Machine

This is a good little machine. It started easily enough. I live in a place where the soil is softer than some and this machine did fine. You have to fill it with sand so that it has the weight to till below the surface and it does not seem to do well in one spot for more than a few seconds but overall a good garden tool.

    • Grinding up the dirt

I was a Mantis user for many years. When it finally gave up the ghost, I went to purchase a new one. But the 300.00 price tag was a little more than I could afford. I began looking for an alternative. So far I am more than happy. The durability seems worth the low cost and the sand weight tank makes it a little easier to get deep furrows the dislodge the lower layers of soil. The refurbished model I purchased seems better than the new ones because all the "bugs" are gone. It works for me. I didn't rate the durability high because I have only had this machine for two months.

    • Ryobi Does the job

Overall the cultivator is light weight but that does not stop it from getting the job done and tilling down to 4-5". On soil never cultivated wait until it has rained and the unit will dig through the soil. This is not a large tiller so let the unit do the work and it will not let you down. Also took off two of the tines and used it as a trencher for low voltage light cable
