this is the third time I've purchased this particular drape. I't's heavy, hangs well , and block the sunlight. Very effective at keeping out heat and cold. I would purchase it again and I would recommend it to others.
How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Very good
Please tell us about the quality of the product. Excellent. Heavy blackout drape.
How accurate was the on site description of the product? right on
These are lovey, thermal blackout drapes, much lighter in weight than older-style blackout drapes with white rubber backing. The fabric in these drapes has a 'silky' feel and appearance, much like polished cotton. The color is a very neural light beige, lending itself more to a cream tone with no pink or grey cast to it. They would compliment a room in which most any shade of brown, gold, rust or orange are the primary color s. I am very pleased with the quality of both the fabric and the wokmanship in these drapes. The hem is topstiched, which makes these drapes more appropriate for a den or family room, so I wouldn't recommend them for use in a formal livingroom, but they are very nice, sturdy drapes, stitched in clear nylon, so I anticipate they will hold up well for years. I am going to order several more sets in different shades for other rooms I am redocarating.
How did the color on site compare with the actual product? A true light beige as depicted in the photos online.
Please tell us about the quality of the product. Very nice quality, both in material and workmanshhip.
How accurate was the on site description of the product? Very accurate description on the website.
I had the hardest time finding extra wide curtains, and it definitely was worth it. The curtains look great! They provide absolute blackout, to the point that I am leaving a crack when drawing them to ensure I do not bump into furniture at night. The color is soothing; it does not over overwhelm the room, though they cover the entire wall.
The only drawback I see is that curtains still show creases after hanging for two weeks. It was recommended by the manufacturer to take them through a drying cycle with a damp cloth, and I did just that, with no result. It does not look ugly, but it is noticeable.
How did the color on site compare with the actual product? I bought olive, and they look pretty close to what you see on the screen, a little into the gray shade.
Please tell us about the quality of the product. The curtains look rich and modern.
How accurate was the on site description of the product? The description matched well.
This was the first time I purchased curtains on-line. I have to admit, I was a bit apprehensive. However, my new set of blackout curtains , in chocolate, are gorgeous! Not only is the color rich, but the material is soft and silky to the touch. The workmanship is excellent and their 'blackout' quality is far better than I ever expected. I will certainly be ordering more of these panels in the future. I love the fact they are machine washable & dryable. As suggested in the slip, packed with the panels, I put them in the dryer to 20 minutes, with a wet microfiber towel, and all the wrinkles came out. These panels will be a great addition to any room and I recommend them highly!
Perfect for a sliding glass door. fits a standard 6 ft door. Fabric is smooth texture and heavy enough to hang nicely. Colors are pretty true to the picture. I chose the black one, but ended up adding a band of beige ribbon to break up the black, give it a more tailored look. Goes better with the kitchen. Great at blocking that hot afternoon sun as well as keeping heat in during the winter. Would buy this again !!
I purchased these curtains and several other brands of black out curtains for my media room which is on the sunny side of the house. When these curtains were hung, the room was very dark. Dark enough to enjoy a movie in the media room on a sunny day. I ordered them in olive and brown. Either color darkened the room the same. Both colors are nice. The fabric hangs well and has a substantial look to it, but it is very plain. If you are purchasing for black out capability these are the best, just not the most decorative. Good for a man cave or media room.
We have an 8ft. patio door (96" wide). Would your 100" width panel be wide enough or would we need another panel?ranchhouse2012 on Mar 9, 2014Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Thank you for your question ranchhouse2012. It is wide enough to cover the door. Have a great day.overstockcustomercare1 on Mar 12, 2014
You could get away with one panel, but it would look stretched out and would not drape well when you close it. I would recommend purchasing 2 so that it drapes like in the picture when closed.gardenlady2013 on Mar 13, 2014

Hello 55marie, exposing these to the elements may damage them. Thank you for shopping with us. overstockcustomercare1 on Jun 14, 2013
There could still be wind and blowing mist/rain that could damage them. I wouldn't recommend them for anything but absolutely inside the home. They're great there, though!swem on Jul 10, 2013

Are things the same as product number 12998488. Wanting the by extra wide for sliding glass doors but a regular 64 inch thermal for a window near by and need to have them match.ngreear34 on Apr 2, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question

I order the extra width and they are so nice the have 16 rings if that helps.phyllisgray5868 on May 1, 2013
These work beautifully for sliding glass doors. That's what I used them for. The quality is top notch as far as fabric, but the hem is uneven on one panel, so check as soon as you receive them so the flawed one can be returned.swem on Jul 10, 2013
Yes, each panel is 100" wide. I used two for a very wide sliding door set.swem on Mar 8, 2013
Hi, is there a sheen/shine to these drapes or are they a matte finish?lifrank on Feb 19, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Not high sheen but a smooth, tight fabric look.song212 on Feb 20, 2013
They're a soft matte finish, but do reflect light a bit. They are not "shiny" if that is the question. The fabric is very rich feeling, and they really block light well - WITHOUT that ugly white foam backing!swem on Jul 10, 2013

What kind of rod and brackets would be used with this so that it would by-pass the center bracket? Wouldn't the single panel be too heavy to use only two brackets on either end?cmarp on Jan 25, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
I ordered the rod recommended, but without the center rod, the side bracket bent because I put up several panels so be sure you have strong enough brackets to support if you use multiple panels.jan32649 on Jan 27, 2013
It seems others have been confused by what the "burgundy" color actually looks like. In the main picture for this item the color of the actual curtains look a lot more like a vibrant red and much different from the color palette directly below it which displays a much darker browner red. I am looking for the vibrant red as it is pictured. Can you confirm what red is more accurate of the actual item?malibu9 on Jan 5, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
This curtain is Burgundy color, the big picture might look more bright because of the screen resolution on the computer, sometime they look different.overstockcustomercare1 on Jan 6, 2013
Is this item from the same company as the Grommet Top Thermal Insulated 84" Blackout Curtain Panel (Item # 12329778)?
