Exactly what I needed Easy to assemble and really easy on my back. I use mine for laundry and bringing groceries up to my apartment. I used to make 3 trips in the elevator until I got this cart. It's strong and handles a lot of weight very well. Note to female senior citizens like myself who don't have a lot of experience putting things together: When you put on the big wheels, make sure to BEND the last little clip you put through the rod to hold the wheels on. If you don't bend it around, it will work itself out and the wheel falls off. Yea, you got it. I didn't bend the clip and both wheels fell off just before I got it to the car to load up. Thank God I managed to gather up all the pieces and put it back together on the spot. For 65 years I have been learning things the hard way. Seems like that isn't going to change any time soon. (;

IT'S A TANK!!! Heavy gauge steel. Real rubber wheels. This thing turns heads man! Instructions are a tad hard to follow. Here is a tip, move your OLD shopping cart near you when you assemble this. Look at the instruction that come with your order, then look at that section of you OLD chart. The rest is cake. PS: If you don't need the old cart anymore, please donÂ’t just throw it in the garbage, give it away or put it where someone who needs it will find it.

I purchased this cart for my dad who walks with a cane and needs to take items through his house. This was something he could use to get groceries from his car into the house. I know he has packed it pretty well with bottles, cans, etc so it holds a lot of weight. It is a very sturdy cart and would highly recommend it.

I have had three 40 lb. bags of cat litter in mine and hauled those around without a problem. The cart is made of steel and cast iron, so it can take a lot of weight. The wheels are a hard plastic with a rubberized tread and hold up really well. Even so, I swapped mine out for some lawnmower wheels as a way to insure the wheels would always hold up to heavily packed cart. Pretty sure the ones that came with it would do fine and I know they are better than what I've seen on other brands of carts.

Hello Jersey 101! I am from Jersey also. Awesome. The actual weight I do not know but I can estimate by my experience in shopping that I had up to 100 to 130 lbs. in the cart. I carry this cart full to top well packed up two flights up from food shopping. The important thing is for you to start from bottom of cart heavy and tight all the way to top of cart. One step at a time the rear wheels are very durable. Good luck with your purchase!

In the photo the black cart is different from the red or blue. The black handle is somewhat tapered and the wheels look different. Is the black model somewhat different? If not - which is the true picture?
