Extendable Media TV Console/ Cabinet

I never actually put it together. I just returned it. I can build a lot of things, this went over my head.

We needed something that would stretch out the entire length of a very wide picture window but low enough that it would not obstruct the beautiful view. We also needed enough space to accommodate all our CDs, DVD, albums and a receiver, turntable, VCR, and CD player. This media center was perfect and we still had some room to store more CDS, DVDs and more components! Was not difficult to put together and once assembled it looked really nice. I would recommend this product to anyone in a heartbeat.

When you expand the console, it just doesn't seem incredibly stable, but we bought it knowing it would remain closed and it's quite nice. The handles are cheap plastic, but look ok, and will be easily replaceable when they are needed.

The design of this piece is functional and even stylish. Unfortunately, the finish looks like a flimsy piece of office furniture. The finish scratches very easily. It works for what I need right now, but if you want something permanent, you can spend the same amount of money on a much better quality piece of furniture at any number of large furniture stores. Also, don't buy this with the idea that you can return it. It is extremely heavy and comes in the strangest packaging setup that I have ever seen.
