We're very pleased with our desk. Although it took quite a while to put it together, the results were well worth the effort. We weren't missing any parts and if you're accustomed to putting furniture together - it's relatively simple. We had to disassemble a few parts after putting them together (due to the lack of specific placing information) but didn't have any problems reassembling the parts. Overall, we are very pleased with the quality of the desk, the strength of the desk and would highly recommend it to anyone.

This was the most perfect solution to my home office. Took a while to put together and had to be patient with all the parts, but well worth it. This is a very sturdy piece of furniture that I plan on getting years of use out of. I would purchase this over and over again.

the instructions were not explicit enough. Had to figure out how the parts assembled. Parts missing were not delivered in a timely manor. became frustrated by the whole process. RTA company was not very helpful, language barrier, and processing were unsatisfactory. However, overstock was excellent in helping me and would certainly buy from them again.

The desk came on time and in good condition. I was able to move it myself (I'm a girl and was worried from other reviews) and put it together. Every single part was correctly labeled and directions were very straight forward (was also worried about this from other reviews). It was labor intesive, 5hrs to put it together by myself. But the desk was exactly what I was looking for and looks like it was last a long time.

We purchased this desk as a birthday gift for my son and he loves it! Great looking desk and perfect size for a bedroom / office or family room. Overall great quality. Previous reviews indicated a bit of a challenge in putting the desk together but my husband didn't have any issues.

I purchased this desk almost a month ago, I have yet to find someone that can get past step 6 on directions. None of the holes match up, or there are simply no holes at all. I am contemplating sending the whole thing back. It seems that the Mfgr just had some type up directions without trying them out. BIG BIG dissapointment! If there is anyone out there who has put this thing together, can you PLEASE post the steps!

I wasn't sure when I purchased the desk if it was a good idea to do so without seeing one first but I am happy with the result. The desk is MDF covered with a coating to make it look like wood. Be carefule on assembly as you can lift the coating off of the MDF. Lots and lots of screws to put it together so be prepared. I received the wrong screws but was very happy when I contacted the company and the overnight mailed the correct screws so the project moved along. My arm & wrist were tired at that point anyway. Overall a nice desk that functions well

This desk is serving our purpose so I can't complain too much. However I was upset to see that many of the pieces literally didn't fit together. You put it together with screws being put through holes in other pieces of wood where they should be locked into place. Only problem is the screws were too long for the hole given! Leaving me with about a centimeter here and there were the wood can not connect... Some of those can be left out as they are for extra security but a couple of them were really necessary. I ended up fitting the table top to the base with nails and a hammer....Also, the desk is a lot smaller than it looks in the picture. They must have a miniature printer on the desk in the picture because my printer took up nearly half of the surface area.Looks good though and serves my purpose. But beware of the above....

The ease of putting the desk together was great. I think that its a good product at a great price. I would recommend this item to anyone who is looking for good workmanship and detail!

The desk was shipped quickly (just a few days) and in perfect condition. The box was very heavy and wouldnt recommend trying to lift it on your own. All the pieces were intact and undamanged. Assembly was extremely difficult with the tiny screwdriver...use a different tool if you put this desk together! (3+ hours!) Everything else about this product was amazing. It looks very professional and no one would guess that you had to put it together. The color is exactly the shade of espresso that I needed and fits great in a small apartment. If you need a desk, pick this one.

So we've been looking for a new computer desk for a couple of months and we finally found this one. The one we had was a hand me down and very small. This desk is fabulous! It is high quality and pretty easy to assemble, just takes some time. The result is a very nice looking desk that is sturdy and gorgeous. I would definately recommend this to anyone.

It is heavy but worth its weight in usefulness. There were a few assembly challenges that were resolved after a break and some thought. The only call that I made to Customer Service was after I had assembled the desk about a screw that wouldn't insert into a support post ( which didn't prevent me from using the desk ). It was determined that the post needs to be replaced and is being UPS'd to me. This desk takes the place of two items that I was using ;freeing up floor space. The only thing that I added to the desk were 8 self adhesive slider discs to aid in movement over the carpet. I enjoyed the assembly process but use your own ratchet screw driver ,it is better then then the one that is included.

The desk is okay. It isn't great. I have seen better, and I have seen worse. I do suggest that you get a full size phillips screwdriver because the tiny one that comes with the desk is not going to hold up for the entire assembly. I was okay with all of the directions except the sliders for the scanner tray and the drawers. Those required 2 calls to customer service, but on a positive note they knew what they were talking about and it only took a few minutes once I got them on the phone. The size of the desk is good for me because I have moved from working in the office to full time work from home, and I didn't want something overwhelming, plus I already had a desk for personal use. The desk arrived in a timely manner and was well packed.

I follow the rule, what you get is what you pay for... however, this desk actually looks much better than what I was expecting! I wanted something inexpensive, durable, and nice looking.... look not further. For the price, you can't beat it. It was a little difficult getting the drawers put together, but the rest was very easy.... probably would have been easier with an extra pair of hands, but was able to do it by myself.

Took a couple of hours to put together, also very heavy bringing it in, will take two people. I really loved the craftmanship, very strong and sturdy, but was disappointed with the color. Espresso is a rich dark brown, not black, which was the color of the desk. I would recommend it for anyone with a small office, that is looking for something sturdy but elegant. Good buy for the price.

First off, this thing is too heavy for one person to carry by themselves safely. So naturally, I carried it by myself. That was one heavy box. All of the contents were in good shape and all were accounted for. I spent half an hour just unpacking, putting all the parts in numerical order, and verifying the parts list. Usually something is missing, or there are two rights instead of a right and a left. This time, it was all there. After that it took me about four hours to put together. You definitely have to pay attention to the drawings, and think about orientations and positions. The positions of the rails are not clear in the drawings, and the many holes leave you with a multiple choice question. Once I got the wrong answer and ended up moving the sliders on the scanner panel one hole back to set it right. You need to look at the pieces together and lined up to make sure you pick the right holes. Once you do that, everything lines up and slides smoothly. Overall it wasn't difficult to assemble, but there are a lot of pieces, sliders, brackets, and screws and so it takes a while. (26 panels, 4 sliders, 2 handles, 9 posts, 8 feet, 110 screws, and 2 washers.) I highly recommend the use of a Makita or equivalent powered screwdriver. Now that it's finally done, I'm pleased with the result. The table is very solid, no doubt in part due to the weight. I like the little printer stand, which is big enough if you put the printer on it diagonally, and leaves lots of room to move the mouse around under it. The drawers and panels slide smoothly and easily. As noted, the "powder coated steel" is difficult to find. The thing is made out of particle board with some sort of thick plasticy coating that gives it a black painted woody look. If you're looking for solid wood or "powder coated steel", this isn't the desk for you. But if you want something solid and functional, I felt it was worth the cost and the assembly time.

This desk is beautiful and good quality. It was pretty easy to put together but will go much faster with two people. This desk fits well in my small space and holds a lot of stuff. The only issue is where the tower goes; measure your tower before putting the shelf on becuase mine was too tall and I had to take the desk apart to remove the shelf above the tower after I had already finished putting it together, so please save yourself some time. Anyway, it is a wonderful desk and should last a long time.
