I love my new canopy bed! After ordering it I read more reviews (I know, stupid right?) and some customers said that it wasn't very sturdy once it was put together. I beg to differ! I made extra sure that I screwed all the screws as tight as they would go, and it barely wiggles at all, even during ... well, you know ;P My only recommendation to someone who gets this bed is to secure the headboard end of the bed to the wall. I used these little semi-circular brackets that I got at the hardware store. I painted them black and placed them in an inconspicuous location. I can't even see them now, but it keeps the headboard from tapping against the wall. I put it together all by myself in less than an hour. It was very easy. All the parts were there and the instructions were very clear. No power tools required! I am extremely pleased with it and can't wait to get canopies up. Way to go overstock!

This bed was extremely easy to assemble and is very sturdy. The only downside I see is that there is extra space between the mattress and both the head and foot boards. I assume this is because the frame will also accommodate a california king which is longer than a regular king bed. Otherwise, it is perfect!

Great sturdy bed, high enough even without a box spring (just used 1 inch slates and 10 inch mattress), easy to put together and looks super expensive!

I bought this frame from Overstock in 2006. It has been moved from Boston, to San Francisco, to Seattle. Today, it looks the same as the day I first unpacked it. It has totally stood the test of time. Worth every cent!

After seeing this bed on line, I knew it would fit my guest room. Putting it together wasn't difficult and took me and my husband about 21/2 hours. It would have been easier if the parts had had their numbers on that part. We had to redo a couple of times because we attached the wrong ends. We are amatuers at this sort of thing but if we did it anybody can.

I purchased this bed because I was moving away to go to graduate school. Putting the bed together was super easy, and only took me a few hours. I had never successful put anything together before, so I was pleasently surprised to find how easy it was to assemble. The bed is everything that I ever could have ever wanted in a bed and makes my bed room look classy and stylish. It is super sturdy and never wobbles. My only complaint is that it is a little squeeky during "activities" with my boyfriend :)

This is a cheap solution to a guest bedroom, but you wont be impressing anyone upon closer inspection.

Love this bed. FINALLY got one I love that is super affordable. The bed is on 6 legs rather than 4 which is great. The bars across the top unscrew quick and I slipped curtain 'sheers' on quick and easy. Love it. I put it together alone ... easy.

This bed had an incorrect piece for the frame. We were required to find additional hardware to clamp the frame together. Once the bed was assembled with additional hardware the bed is attractive though the feel of construction is a bit shakey. Would not purchase again.

Overstock has the best shipping. The bed is really nice. Me & my teen daughter were able to put it together without much help from the instructions.

For the price it was OK. It was very difficult to assemble. It looked really nice and I was happy with it for the first 6 months. However now it squeaks every time you move, which is annoying. Even re-tightening all the bolts did not help with the squeaking. I think I will eventually replace it with something else and use this in a guest bedroom.

I love my new bed! I was worried that a bed that was so reasonably priced may be cheap but it is very sturdy solidly made and fooled one of my snobbiest friends:) that it was much more expesive than it was. I have it without all the hanging curtains and it is very stately. Men like it too its not too girly. I also thought it may be too big for my average sized mster bedroom but it doesn't overwhelm it at all. Only regret is that I should have purchased it sooner.

Great value on this bed. Well worth the money. I like the light weight but others might see that as a fault but for the price... nice. It looks good in the room but does fill up the tiny space we have. I would buy this again.

I am extremely pleased with this purchase. It was heavy and hard to get up a flight of stairs, which i thought was great. I had assumed that it was going to be some flimsy piece of furniture. It was very easy to put together and it is extremely sturdy. It comes with a nice sturdy bed frame as well. I ordered curtains to go around it and it looks so elegant and nice...Im impressed

I bought this bed after thinking about it for about 6 weeks and trying to decide between this one and a platform bed.. It arrived very quickly. The instructions were a little confusing as the parts were a bit hard to tell apart, but by looking at the pictures I managed to put it together almost by myself...just a little help holding up the top bars when screwing them in. I bought the Mombasa canopy from Overstock and it's absolutely gorgeous on the bed. Everyone I show it to raves about it also. I'm so happy I decided on this bed.

My husband can't believe how nice this bed is considering how little I paid for it! It is very sturdy and good looking. Its light and open design makes our room look twice as large as when we had a solid wooden bed. At 6'4" and 250 lbs, my husband can put a lot of strain on a flimsy bed; however, this bed is super sturdy and doesn't squeak or slide around. We are both more than satisfied with the quality and you just can't beat the price. Thank you, Overstock!

The bed was pretty easy to assemble. It came with the tools to put it together. A few of the tops to the canopy posts were threaded crooked, but once they were all the way on you could not notice. I don't have the mattress set on it yet, but overall it seems very sturdy. I love the way it looks.

I am a college student who decided to buy the bed of my dreams. I saw this bed online and fell in love with it. I bought the bed and got to come home one weekend to put it together at home. Every day of every week I now want to go home and sleep in my new bed. My parents and siblings love the bed. It is just beautiful! It is the canopy bed of my childhood dreams but much more sophisticated. It wasn't hard to assemble but it was not the easiest thing I have ever put together. All and all, the bed is wonderful and worth every penny!

This is just a frame around a Tempurpedic adjustable bed for us -- and it was wide and long enough to do that. So, when you sleep in my bed, you aren't being supported in any way by this frame so I have no idea how it performs when moving around on it. The design is perfect for the guest room I have it in and the look is exactly what I wanted as I hung sheer gray drapes at each corner to be able to pull around the bed and create a cozy place to sleep.
