When I ordered this bed, I was concerned about stability and sturdiness. I have seen many canopy beds where the canopy is incredibly wobbly and the whole thing feels like it will fall apart. This is NOT one of those beds. I am impressed with both the look and feel of this bed frame. It looks just as the picture does, the seems are well designed to be hidden as much as possible, and it is very sturdy. I have no concern about leaning on the canopy posts. No wobbles! I love this bed. It is everything I hoped it would be and nothing I hoped it wouldn't. Great purchase for the price.

I waited a long time for this to come back into stock; well worth the wait! It fits my style and decor beautifully! I'm so pleased with this purchase. It was very easy to put together, all by my lonesome, and looks just fantastic. So far its very sturdy and doesn't move at all. For the money, you can't beat it! I'm very happy!

Purchased the bed a couple of weeks ago and just assembled it myself 3 days ago. Very easy to assemble, as I did it by myself without any problem. Once I got it together, I was so happy to have purchased a bed which came with all the parts, nothing missing. But more exciting was the canopy bed; It's so georgeous and classic. After becoming an empty nester, I decided to redo the last kids bedroom after he finished medical school. So this was a thrill painting walls and putting up the new bed. One thing new purchasers should know...the bed is very sturdy, I'm sure my grandkids will get very good use out of the canopy bed when they come to visit...very beautiful, sturdy, durable and easily assembled.

I've always wanted a canopy bed like this but could never find one at a reasonable price. When I saw this one I was hesitant because it was so much cheaper than others I had seen on other websites. After reading the reviews I decided to take a chance. I was delighted when the bed arrived. It was well packaged and arrived on time and in excellent condition! Looked high and low for a "masculine" canopy style for my 13 yr old son, who wanted to make his bed like a cool fort...I didn't want to spend too much in case he changed his mind. But he looooves it and his friends think its cool. Was delivered quickly, went together easily and is very sturdy. Well done Overstock.

Very happy with this purchace. Looks just like photo. Matt black in color. It was very easy to put together, I was able to have it done with in an hour or less. Directions were easy to follow. I did place a few extra pieces of wood under mattress for extra support. (For the full size) The frame looks like it costs more than I paid! Very nice!

Our teenage daughter wanted to change from a cottage look to something more updated and a bit more mature. We saw this bed on Overstock and I told her it had to be a piece of junk when I saw the price. After reading the reviews, I went ahead and ordered it. It arrived in 3-4 days and my husband spent a little more than an hour putting it together. He said the directions were simple and he had no problems. He said it would have been more difficult if he hadn't had someone to help with holding parts up during assembly. The bed is very sturdy and looks beautiful. The price is amazing and we are totally satisfied.

Remodeling my sons room, and we ordered this bed. I'm very pleased with the powder coat finish. Assembly took about an hour to an hour and a half. My son loves it!

It came very quickly, only took a couple of hours to assemble (I had a friend help me, but might have been able to do it myself, I'm not sure). It is STURDY. It comes with the frame ("rails"), but not slats, so you need to figure that out yourself. I put grommet curtains on during assembly, and bought a really nice sheet set, and the bed looks much more expensive than it actually was :). Looks great with the curatins, though I'm sure it would look very nice without as well. I highly recommend this bed!!! Seems pretty easy to break down for the next time I move, too. Great big city bed for that reason. I was able to carry all three of the shipping boxes up to my apt myself, as well.

We bought this bed for our daughter's "Paris" themed bedroom. It is perfect! I loved the criss-cross design which mimics the eiffel tower's construction. We added sheer sparkle panels to the canopy and my daughter absolutely LOVES it. It is nice quality and looks great in her room.

I bought this bed hoping that is would be sturdy. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. The bed is very sturdy and looks great draped with scarves. It only took my husband an hour to put it together (with minimal help towards the end). I looked at a lot of beds before purchasing this one and I was ultimately swayed by all of the positive reviews on this bed. Thanks to all who wrote a review! The information was very accurate.

This bed was easy to put together and is sturdy. The size is accurate with the description, I don't have a super large bedroom (I live in NYC) and the full size fit just fine. I used the little tools that come with it when putting it together, but had to use my power drill to tighten the screws. I absolutely love the finish and it certainly changed my bedroom. I would recommend this bed, you can't beat this price.

We bought this bed for our 7 yr old daughter and bought the white netting canopy to go with it. It's good for now while she is young but will have to get her something of better quality once she gets older. This bed is pretty flimsy so hopefully it will last until she is through her teens. I would recommend for short term use but not long term, it won't last.

I am glad I read the reviews before purchasing. I knew to expect 3 boxes, which all came at the same time. Boxes were clearly marked with contents and the bed assembled relatively easily, with the tools provided. My husband only needed to help me toward the end holding things together. For the money, it is a nice looking bed and is very sturdy.

Better quality than I imagined. Easy to put together and looks expensive. Shipped with expediency. Great directions for assembly.

I have had this bed for almost 2 years and am very satisfied with it. It is sturdy, pretty, easy to take apart for a move and easy to put back together.
