Waste of money
I purchased this mattress for my futon which is my "couch". The cat likes to sit on one side of the couch, and every day when I came home, the futon had sunk halfway down the frame from his weight. He is 10lbs. I had a spring based mattress before this, and never had this problem. I decided to move a mattress under this futon mattress to create the illusion of a couch while I go couch shopping. I typically fall asleep in front of the T.V., so I sleep on top of this futon mattress for now, supported by a spring mattress. I wake up with aches and pains every day. Even on a cushy mattress, this thing is terrible. Avoid! Avoid! The shipping was great, thanks Overstock, and the product is pretty. But if you actually want to sit/sleep on it, pick something else.

Surprising
We put this futon right to work and it's now a fought over seat in the house...and bed for company. The cover ordered with it was good quality, shipping was efficient in the extreme, and, all in all, this purchase was just a surprising success. Keep it up OverStock.

This mattress is very comfortable for both sitting and sleeping. The quality of the workmanship and overall appearance are good. There is no assembly because it came ready to use. My only somewhat negative comment is that it took longer to receive than I would have thought, but it is around Christmas, so that may have contributed to the delay.
