Terrible Mattress
I bought this mattress to replace my coil-based mattress I had for many years. The cat likes to sit on one side of my "couch" - I had to move this futon mattress out of the frame because everytime I came home it had sunk halfway down the frame from the weight of my 10 lb cat! It was then temporarily my bed, and it sat on top a mattress on the floor. Every part of my body ached from sleeping on this... back, hips, shoulders, you name it. The regular mattress by itself is more restful! It is one of the biggest wastes of money I have ever spent. Avoid this mattress like the plague.

Not impressed
This mattress was a HUGE disappointment! I sold my previous mattress and replaced it with this one, it is like sitting on a folded towel, It was not as thick as advertised and after the first day showed dips where I have sit. I would not recommend.

not happy with the futon!
The wrong futon was sent to me. more work to repack the futon and send it back. Not happy!

Best Futon Mattress
I am a graduate student that was trying to save space in a tiny room by sleeping on a futon. I searched far-and-wide for something that could satisfactorily replace a real bed in my life for 8 months out of the year. After trying several different options in stores, I ordered this one online without trying it first. It was a risk, but I was convinced that the layered construction would be more supportive than traditional coils. It definitley is! I have been sleeping on it for over a week, and feels lovely. It is a very firm option, though. I usually preffer a softer feel, but that was easily fixed with a pillowtop mattress pad (for $60). I am very pleased with this option, and it really has saved space.
