We were looking for a storage bed, and this bed filled the bill. A very heavy construction quality wood piece of furniture. The bed took us about 3 and a half hours to put together. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I have put together probably 100 pieces of knock down furniture and this was by far the easist set of instructions to follow. I would recommend using a hand held screw driver, and not a cordless drill, anytime you use a drill you have the chance to strip screws and damage surfaces if you are not cautious. Assembly will require two people at certain times, and it will certainly help speed things up during the whole process. You do not need box springs for this bed, we are using the mattress only as there are slats that take the place of the box springs. The drawers are not terribly big, but are perfect for extra shoes, or clothes. They are not made for books or heavy items. The color is very dark, and in certain light could be seen as black. We also purchased the matching head board and I would recommend getting it with this bed. Overall I was surprised with the quality of this bed, and I would buy another one if we needed another bed.

I purchased this bed and the headboard for my teenage sons room. It was not difficult to put together, the quality is pretty good, you get what you pay for. The drawers are very roomy. One of the big sellers on this bed for me was the drawer space, I was able to eliminate a large dresser from the room which is great when you don't have alot of space. The headboard gives the bed a finished look and was also very easy to put together. Those who complain it is hard to put together (the bed or headboard) may not be reading the directions. You do have to work the bed a little bit to get it square after you put it together, before you insert the drawers, but you have to do that with any type of rectangular/square piece of furniture that you put together like this. If you only use a matress like this bed calls for it is difficut to make as the matress sits down in the bed, we put a box spring and matress, it is very high but my 6ft son has no problem with that. We also had to raise up the headboard to come up to the top of the matress. Its a good buy for the money.

This bed frame comes in three ridiculously heavy boxes (50-75 lbs). It took me about 5 hours to assemble; the instructions were perfectly adequate. I would recommend having two people on hand for the assembly (I did not), as the bed gets quite heavy and hard to move. The bed looks quite nice (except for a couple of drawers that stick out slightly (though this is probably as much my fault as the manufacturer's), which I was able to put on the less-visible side. The bed is an excellent height with my foam mattress on top; if you used a box spring, it would probably be a little too tall. Overall, I'm quite happy with my purchase.

We bought this product for the storage it provided as well as the bed frame. When it was delivered we had an idea that putting all the pieces together would be our biggest issue...turns out we were wrong. The frame was not sturdy and the drawers have never lined up from day one. The cheap pressed wood was something to be desired but we knew we weren't buying top of the line when we made the purchase. It squeaks if either one of us moves and the wood is constantly shifting so we are forced to take the heavy platform mattress off a few times a month to make adjustments to the frame. I buy quite a bit online and believe I rate things fairly because of all the good and bad I've bought but this was just a bad buy period and I just couldn't let anyone make the same mistake in purchasing this product like we did.

Although the boxes were intimidating, it was actually easy to assemble. It took me all day, but I assembled it alone. I like it, now that it is completed, and have nothing bad to say about it. I'd recommend it to others and I'd order it again. It is a cheap bed, lots of fiberboard, but it looks good and is exactly what I expected... as advertised.

After reading all the other reviews, I purchased this bed. There were no parts missing and the instructions to assemble was very easy. I am not sure how long it took my husband and 11 year old son to assemble as they did it while I was at work...but it looks great ! The only thing that wasn't pleasant was the top of the entire bed has a sharp edge and my husband scraped the side of his leg while putting it together. We are now cautious, when walking by the foot bed. The drawers are great size and run smooth. There is one thing more, if you move the bed slightly to one side, the entire bed tweeks and then the drawers don't fit properly. So make sure the bed is perfectly sound and straight. Love the color and lots of storage !!

Love my bed, only has a couple setbacks, the drawers don't slide perfectly sometimes they get stuck, the wood planks that are the "box spring" are too short and they keep falling out.

The biggest problem that I ran into is that some of the drawer hardware is missing. I have one drawer that I can't put together, which is frustrating.

I ordered the entire set of this. The bed, the memory foam matress, headboard, two bed side tables, and the dresser. It looks good but pretty poor quality. The drawers crack very easy when assembling. Overall I like the look of it. The pieces are very large. I have a very small room and all of the pieces did not fit. The headboard made the bed to long.

Bought this for my guest room, which is pretty small, so instead of a dresser I opted for a bed with storage. It was pretty hard to set up, things were missing and I had to improvise with screws. The quality is a little iffy as well. I would recommend purchasing the head board for this, it looks and operates a lot better. The drawers were difficult to line up, but eventually with a lot of coxing I got them to line up perfect. I would suggest shopping around before spending a good three hours attempting to put this bed together.

We purchased the bed for our 6-year old daughter. She loved it with her new 10 -inch memory foam mattress. It might take 2-3 hours to assemble the bed but it was not that difficult to put it together though. The value is good.

This was a nightmare to set up. Screws were missing, some were the wrong size. The drawers were very hard to line up and install. Really ridiculous.....what a mess.

this took forever to come and when it came i was not thrilled. It looks great but i expected the wood to be of a finer quality. if you want something not too expensive this is ok but if i was not in such a rush i wouldve chose something else.

We purchased this bed for my 6'1 and 275lb+ son. We were a little reluctant about getting it because we wasn't sure if this bed would hold him. I'm glad that we did buy this bed because it looks really nice and only took my husband about 4.5 hours to put it together. It may take half the amount of time if 2 people were assembling it but my husband didn't want any help. Again this is a great bed for the price and is being used to replace my sons bed & dresser so I have no complaints.

Very difficult to assemble although it looks nice after the work is done. The numbers of the assembling parts (screws, nails...) are exactly same as required for most parts, but in then end I found I need one more screw for the drawer. It will be better if they could put a little more (screws, nails) just in case.

so, i had no idea what i was getting into when i had to put this bed together. do NOT order this bed if you don't have an electric screwdriver!however, now that the bed is set up it looks really nice, the drawers slide great and i'm really pleased. could i have maybe found an easier bed to set up with comparable features for a comparable price? maybe... do i regret the purchase? no.oh, and mine had some nicks and scratches on the head and foot boards too, but nothing too bad.

The bed is great. It looks great and the drawers are a great size! The bed does take awhile to put together, definitely plan on 2 people to make it easy. It took us about 1 hour 50 minutes for the bed and then with just one person on the drawers took about 50 minutes. I will say the wood for the drawers wasn't the strongest, so be careful with an electric screw driver. It's a great bed though and I'm so glad I bought it!

This item is worth it - it only took me two hours to assemble this bed and it looked great when finished. The bed is very comfortable to sleep on and seems to be durable!

arrived in about 7 days, well packed, all pieces arrived intact. My son in 280 lbs. and the frame is very sturdy. Husband put it together in about 3 hours. Very satisfied with your product.

¿his bed frame is solid and looks great. The only disappointment is the drawers do not stay on/ run smoothly on the tracks, nor do the drawers pull out easily.
