Excellent
I was impressed that it's solid wood. Only the shelf bottoms are particle board. The assembly directions were clear. It did take a total of about 5-1/2 hours. We did it in stages. Assembled the drawers and attached the hardware first. Then the next day assembled the rest of the platform. I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I'm able to put into one drawer.

Worst product I have ever purchased
This bed is MDF!!!! NOT "SOLID WOOD". Takes hours of assembly, even with drill and two adept people working. Had the bed less than one year and it has already FALLEN APART, my husband and I are fairly physically fit, and perhaps even less than what I would guess is about average weight for queen bed use. I love Overstock.com and I almost NEVER leave a bad review, but this product is truly lacking. I was so excited to have the extra storage space, but this is hands down the worst product I have ever purchased. I would absolutely recommend looking for a different bed.

Good Product
The bed was delivered on time. Instructions were EASY to follow. The only thing I would like to have seen a better quality for the drawers the slide in bottoms are fragil we added glue and then nailed them.

Power tools are my best friend....
Bought this as a guest bed...and it's perfect for that. Read all of the reviews on here before purchasing, so set my expectations off of them. Drawers are cheap although I had no problems with alignment and none of them broke. As far as difficulty assembling, I can honestly say, it wasn't hard. Time consuming, yes, but not difficult. If you have any mechanical aptitude whatsoever, you won't have a problem. I can say this with confidence because mine came with no instructions. Go figure.

Decent quality, good price
This product came in four well-packaged boxes, the heaviest being 120 lbs, so you might need help getting it into the house. The bed went together pretty easily in about 3 hours (with two people working on it). Some of the drawer panels can be brittle so handle them gingerly until all four walls are in place (then they are a lot more solid). Finish is okay for this price, but if you want something that looks like real wood, you'll have to pay more elsewhere. We've only had this product for one week, so I can't speak to how long it will last... hopefully a long time because this is a really heavy item which will likely be tough to dismantle and throw out!

Everett Espresso Queen 12-drawer platform bed
I recently moved and wanted a nice-looking, high-quality bedroom set, but didn't want to pay the high-quality price tag associated with that. I had received great reviews about Overstock, but had never bought anything myself. I decided to check Overstock out, and I'm so very glad I did! I bought the Tall Espresso Headboard to go with the Tall 12-drawer queen bed frame. Both arrived promptly and seemed to match, color-wise, the photos online. I'm a fairly slight female, but I didn't have any problems with assembling anything. That's not to say the product is light or flimsy, however. Altogether I think the boxes weighted in at over 200 lbs. Once together everything was very solid. I am very happy with my purchase and wouldn't hesitate to order from Overstock again. Especially when shipping is only $2.95!! Fantastic, high-quality products without the high-quality price. Exactly what I was looking for! Overstock has a very satisfied customer, and I will not hesitate to buy from them again for any future needs.

got it on time used it a while ; particle board dried out and crumbled in the stress areas probably due to the dryness of Arizona air. I like the product and intend on replacing the inner parts with solid wood pieces

Not worth the money
This bed is not at all worth the money! I have had it for 2 months and it has been falling apart since day 1. It took 2 days to put together with 2 people working on it. The instructions are fairly easy to read but there are so many screws and different pieces that it can be very hard to figure out. Once the bed is put together, you absolutely cannot move it unless you take it all apart and move it again. The concept of the bed is excellent beings i have limited space in my bedroom but overall the bed is junk. The drawers do not line up, I only had the thing for 2 days before the first drawer broke. It is not solid wood, it is all particle board and the screws and things have been falling out and stripping since it was first put together. I would not recommend this product to anyone, save yourself the hassle and buy something else!
