Once I finished putting the Everett Espresso Plasma/ LCD Console together, I was very pleased with the finished product. It really is very beautiful. However, there is very little "real" wood on the console. Basically, just the legs and two small support beams. Two of the legs were scratched; one leg was very bad. I was able to place those two legs in the back against the wall, but I am considering contacting the manufactuer for replacement legs. Assembly was a nightmare! There were no labeled parts AT ALL. In addition, all screws, and other small parts came in on big bag. Once I sorted through all the small pieces and figured out the console parts, I moved fairly quickly through the assembly process. I consider myself to be fairly handy, and I completed it alone in about 2 hours. It was frustrating, but doable. It would have been nice if the manufactuer took the assembler into account. Again, ultimately, this is a very nice piece, and compared to other consoles at this price point, it's a very nice value.

I thought the product was fair in quality. Three of the four legs were damaged. I would recommend this piece for someone starting out their new place. If you want something temporary, it would be a good fit. Also the inside of the draws are white which i thought was odd.

I purchased this for our media room and I wanted something that was inexpensive and functional. The room is used mostly by our children (teens) and I wanted the room to be comfortable but did not want to sink a lot of money into it. My mother visited and asked whether the piece was handmade! I guess that gives you a sense of how good it looks! A couple of the pieces had a few chips in the wood, but I was able to overlook that given the low cost of this item! I would highly recommend this console. It looks great in our media room and we do not have to really worry about wear and tear as we did not sink thousands of dollars into it. I had a handy man put it together for me and he completed the entire project in a couple hours. So far I have been very impressed with all of the items that I have purchased from Overstock.

The value was great for this product. It was a little darker than I thought it would be. Once I knew what I wanted and shopped online, Overstock.com had the best price and shipping! It was very easy to assemble. One of the legs was scratched, but I just put that leg toward the wall and applied the touchup marker supplied. Other than that everything else was great! This was my first time to shop here and I will definitely shop Overstock.com again.

The console arrived quickly to my home address and the single large box/package was inspected upon arrival to ensure that there were no openings/tears in the package that could have possibly damaged any of the parts/panels. I took my time to open and inspect its contents. It does comes with an instructions manual to help you assemble the console, and as others have mentioned having the parts marked for easier/faster assembly could've help a lot, although if you pay attention to the instructions clearly you should have no problem in assembling it. It took me 45 minutes to assemble it just to make sure I did not damage anything in the process (many screws and other small parts) Now, once assembled the console looks very nice and sturdy, however I had to 'play' a bit with some of the parts (2,or 3) as they came with some small damages that after installed in the correct positions the damages could not be seen. If you run into problems with parts there is a toll free number for a customer service center to request new parts, if necessary, which luckily I did not have to use. The most important parts/components to maintain good console rigidness are made out of real wood, so this is good to make sure that the console keeps the intended weight and shape for a long period of time. If you want a console made in its entirety out of wood look somewhere else and be prepared to pay a lot of money for it. So, for the price paid this console is great.

Bought this for my new apartment. Looks really good when you finally put it together. It would be so much better if each piece was labeled with some kind of identification for the instruction book.

I bought this console mainly for the great reviews and the price. I wanted something that looked good, but didn't have to spend a lot of money. Well, after you assemble the console and don't look too closely, it has a nice appearance. The drawers inside aren't even wood, they are white metal. Almost all of the materials are particle board and looks and feels cheap (I guess you really do get what you pay for!). I don't think I would have been so disappointed about the piece if it didn't get so many great reviews on how nice it was. Use caution when buying this piece. If you are looking for something to just get by and use for a temporary piece, this is good enough. If you are looking for an affordable, but nice, don't bother to buy. I have bought many pieces of furniture from Overstock and have always been happy with the quality, except this time!

assembled this in about an hour or so with little complication. the piece looks great and very sturdy. the drawers are great (not the cheap pressed wood bottoms) and awesome to store dvds. our 52-inch plasma looks great on this. some of the "wood" parts are not but the included marker fixes any small dents. overall looks more expensive than it is and it a sturdy piece of furniture.

I shopped for days, looking at every type of T.V. stand on the market. After seaching high and low, I kept coming back to this stand!It is the best looking piece of furniture for the money I could find. The color of the piece is dark espresso, which is a bit darker than the color in the picture, which I think looks even better.The shipping was extremely quick and arrived completely undamaged. I assembled the stand myself right in my living room, taking my time in about 1 hour and 45 minutes.The top piece of the stand, as well as the legs and frame pieces are solid wood. The side panels, drawers, and shelves are laminated composite wood.I have a 60" Sony LCD T.V. that I am putting on this stand, and it fits perfect!

Just like many others said; WAY too many scratches as well as a deep gouge in the right rear leg. Everything except ONE needed bolt screw was sent. You would think the company would put a couple extra of each of the screws. Of course, the company does include a phone number for one to call to have any missing parts sent to you. The appearance is nice AFTER you have touched up all the scratces / gouges with the included marker. Price, though, seems very good.

The only reason I marked this down was because it is part composit wood... but what do you expect for the price? It was a perfect low cost solution for our living room - highly recommend it! We fit the direct TV receiver, CD player, DVD player, X Box, Wii and the "original" nintendo all in the shelving and had space for movies and controllers in the drawers... perfect!

This is a nice TV stand. Took boyfriend and I a little over an hour to put together. Was fairly straightforward. Once put together, it looks like it came assembled. Assembly made much easier by using a drill. Definitely darker than in the picture! Wasn't really expecting that, but I still like it. Some of the wood colors were a little off, but overall it looks really nice.

The console is beautiful. It's sturdy and is of high quality. The piece is not too heavy to move around once put together although it may take two people. All the pieces and parts were included. The instructions were a little vague at times but after a couple of minutes we clearly saw what the next step should be. There was one scratch on one of the legs. The marker that was included took care of the problem right away.

After reading reviews on this product we decided it was worth the purchase. We recieved it very quickly and the assembly was not that bad. It took my husband a couple of hours but it had good directions included in the package. Overall for the look, price, and the storage it was a good purchase. I get compliments on it all the time and when I tell people the price I spent they cannot believe it. It looks very nice and holds our TV great.

I bought this stand for my 52 inch LCD television and it works great. A little time consuming to put together but looks great once it is. I am very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it.

Well at first I was a little disappointed in the shipping. UPS had NO idea what was going on. At first it said it was coming from CA, then when it finally shipped I check and it ended up coming from PA? It took longer to get here than I'd like because it was shipped from overseas (according to UPS...but then again, they had no idea what was going on). It would have been nice to know where I was ordering this from so I could have been prepared for the longer wait. Once it got here, assembly was pretty easy. Took two of us about an hour and that was with having to take it apart at least once because we missed something. IOh and it was missing one part but luckily a piece from the entertainment center we were replacing fit perfectly. It was a missing screw, not a missing panel or anything. It's very very sturdy as long as you put it together right. It could be easy to put it together wrong...none of the pieces are labeled or the screws. You have to look at the diagrams to make sure you're using the right things. All 4 legs had minor scratches on them from what looks like factory mistakes, not shipping. But the marker they include is a perfect match and you can't see the scratches at all anymore. Having the solid wood feet and front pieces really adds a nice touch. Makes this table look much nicer than it actually costs. I'd definitely recommend this to a friend.

Once again, we have bought furniture from overstock that is "composite wood" or "laminate" and not real wood. Only the legs are REAL wood. The drawbacks to this type of material are that it scratches easily and is overall, not as durable. It looks GREAT in our living room, however and I would recommend it. It is a great piece of furniture for the price, just don't think that the whole thing is solid wood. Also, it arrived in great packaging, but there were several dents and dings that are atrocious on new furniture. It actually comes with a brown magic marker to color in the discrepancies. Overall, I like it, but we won't keep it forever, surely.

This is an attractive console. The box arrived in good shape and the pieces inside were mostly in good condition. There were several pieces scratched but the enclosed marker did a good job of covering them up. I was able to assemble it with no problem (only had to drill 2 holes). I live alone and am over 55 so the ease of assembly is a big plus. I think this is a great piece of furniture for the price. If you are looking for a solid wood piece this is not for you, as all the pieces except the 4 legs are some type of composite material. Friends have seen it and have been very impressed with the look of the console and couldn't believe the low price.
