Everett Espresso 60-inch Plasma/ LCD TV Stand with Storage

We bought this to hold up our new plasma tv, which is pretty much the only thing this stand is good for. After being up for only a few days, it already has multiple dings and scratches. I would expect it to be a little sturdier too. The directions were very, very vague and parts were not labeled. Normally that wouldn't be a problem, except that this came in two seperate shipments and had hundreds of pieces, so we actually had to take it apart multiple times to finally get it right. It looks nice now for the most part, but it is not that high of a quality. Another piece of furniture that I ordered from overstock has similiar problems with vague directions and flimsy material. This might be a trend.

this product is great itself. However, I had a lot of trouble with the parts because the box came missing parts. I called the company and they sent me the missing parts. At the end I finishing putting everything together like 2-3 weeks after I received the item. Did not like that.

A lot of pieces--the sides facing out are a rolled photo-paper with the exception being the front frame-- which is wood--the top is the same photo paper--not even a laminate. Not bad looking--but very cheap components--and the back panel was an after thought. by the way it retrofits.

The reviews you read about this unit taking some time to put together are true. It definitely helps to have a power screwdriver. It took me and my boyfriend 2.5 hours to get it all done. Probably would've finished faster had we not put a couple of things on backwards! It's somewhat difficult to tell what's what by the drawings in the instruction book. Looks very nice when all is said and done. And worth the effort and money in my opinion. It's heavy and very sturdy. It came well-packaged, but there were a couple of small nicks in the wood...especially around the edges. Happy with my purchase. And with the new TV I bought to put on it. (I recommend not going bigger than a 52"?55" on it...looks better with some breathing room on the sides.)
