This is the cheapest piece of furniture I have ever paid for. I have put dozens of pieces of furniture together. This is worth nothing. It came damaged. It scratches easily. The drawers do not close, everything is cheap on this piece. I will have it for a year, if that, and drag it out for firewood.I am happy with many products on Overstock, and like I said, I assemble furniture often. This could not be nastier and I am so disappointed that we did not return it. It was not until the last step, putting the drawers together, that we had an idea of how awful it really is. I would give it a -1 if I could.

After reading most of the reviews i felt that it would be safe to order this piece. I saw some negative, but thought the positives outweighed them. I was wrong. The piece is flimsy and cheap looking. The rich wood finish that appears on the picture looks like it was painted on and does not match the other color on any other portion that you put together. We are keeping it because we do not want to hassle with dissassembling and packing in the same box. We are buying new pulls and i may even paint it. If you are looking for a rich modern look for your room this is not the right piece. Spend a few extra bucks and you will be much much happier.

I bought this piece, thought it was beautiful when assembled. it took 2 of us about 3 hours to do. After assembly I noticed that none of the drawers aligned. now I have had it a few months and the bottoms of the drawers are falling off, It doesnt work at all any more. Im online today buying something to replace it.... only a few months after I bought it.

The picture does not represent what this product looks like once it is assembled...which took about 10 1/2 hours versus the 128 minutes that the instructions reflect! And unfortunately you cannot tell the quality of the item unless it is assembled. The drawer slides were bent so that the drawers do not slide easily. The screws that came with the product were easily stripped even though we used the recommended tools for assembly. The 'cardboard' backing for the dresser did not fit properly. The finish is really bad. When we called to secure a refund and return, they told us to disassemble the whole thing and put back into the same two boxes that were original shipped. Not easy either

A very nice piece of furniture, solid, well constructed and fairly easy (although time consuming) to put together. Looks great when assembled, just what we were looking for. If there is any negative comment, it would be that the drawers are not very deep (front to back).

I love this beautiful dresser! It doesn't take up too much space, which is perfect for my small room. The drawers are not very deep. If you don't have an electric screwdriver, it is very time consuming to put together. Instructions say you need 2 people but I did it by myself and was fine (small female). You need a phillips and flat head screwdrivers and a hammer.

The Expesso dresser was very easy to put together. A few more pictures would have rated it a 5. The finish was very nice and I loved the fact it came with ah touchup stick. Very good customer satisfaction. Thanks

This is a dark chocolate dresser, which is fairly large in dimensions... ensure you measure your space where you intend to put this. It was relatively easy to put together, but it still did take at least 2 hours worth of assembly. The only pieces that are solid wood are the 5 legs and the two horizontal pieces on the front. The rest is pressed particle board which all similar furniture is within this price range. The appearance of the pieces is very classy and it looks like a more expensive piece. The mechanisms aren't machined to tight tolerances like a solid wood piece of furniture would be, but everything works just fine. The base of the drawers are not extremely supportive, but more than adequate to hold approximately 10-15lbs of clothing, etc. Just don't plan on storing dense/heavy items such as your last 2 years subscription to National Geographic. The Top is pressed particle board with a very nice veneer covering, as a result it has a very elegant appearance, but will show scratches well as it is not a one piece top. Again, this is found in all furniture in this price range and should be expected. The top arrived and was damaged by the mail carrier as well as two other pieces and the Customer Service Department shipped the parts out the next day all for free and they arrived within 4-5 days. A good piece at a GREAT value, and I would recommend for a guest bedroom, guest house, or a very well appointed college suite, but not perhaps for a well traveled space such as a living room or den.

Delivery was quick, style very elegant. Ensemble was not that hard and all the part were enclosed marker was a very nice touch. The wood if there was any its made of poor quality........................ Maybe overstock should lower prices ............... Maybe next time separate the screws in individual bags. Planning to buy the nighstands and other to complete the set. Overall OK.

Not exactly what I expected. Small drawers lacked depth. Stylish appearance, but lots of pressed board. Manufacturing is okay, but not precise. Took some time to assemble.

This dresser looks ok but the workmenship is poor and it takes alot of time to build , the dircetions are not very clear , the draws are sallow and the wood was worped, being unaware of this after we started to build it iwas to late to return it.How can you return it if you don't know until you build it??

This product came to me missing pieces and with scratched pieces. I spent about a week trying to get the right parts and another 5 hours putting it together. It's not worth it.

The Everett Espresso 6-drawer Dresser was difficult to assemble. There were many screws. In addition, my dresser pieces were shipped in 2 separate packages with one package that was padded and one that was not. The package that was not padded, had 2 pieces of broken wood and scratches on pieces that are visible after you assemble the dresser. These scratches were all a result of the poor shipping.

I knew this was "assembly required" but I didn't know it would arrive absolutely flat with about 100s of bolts and screws! Luckily my husband is handy and likes to pu things together. I was disappointed in the quality. It said a wood venner, but you can see where the seams between the front and the sides of the drawers are (the particular board shows). I don't think the top veneer is actually wood either. It looks fake. The overall price was low, so I know I shouldn't expect great qulaity, but since this was on overstock.com, I thought I was getting a real bargain, not just a cheap piece of furniture.

You get what you pay for. It looks good when finished but it is a pain in the neck to assemble. It is surprisingly sturdy for a do it yourself product. I had to by a furniture pen to stain some of the edges that were not well made. All said, it is worth what I paid but next time I will simple pay more for a better product

I am disappointed with this product. After spending a couple of hours getting it assembled, the sturdiness of the drawers is in question. I am certain the drawers will not support anything very heavy and within probably the next year will break or require repair. I have been very pleased with so many things I have gotten from Overstock, but this product is just not of quality.

Cheap and not so pretty. Drawers are shallow and small all over. If all you want to store is underwear and tee-shirts, this is for you. Those who need actual clothing storage should keep looking. The laminate color peals off easily and the thing looks a little like a big plastic dresser. Suitable for kids maybe but not worth the money. The construction was a two day, very tedious project that left me disappointed in the end. Big Bummer!
