Everett Espresso 2-drawer Armoire

This piece looked perfect for our needs online, but after great difficulty trying to get cheap parts together, several broke before we could finish. So we have an OK armoire with only one functional drawer. I do not feel it was worth what we paid for it, but it does get most of the job done. I have had several fantastic experiences ordering online from overstock, but this is not included in my tally. The risk in ordering furniture is that it will be too much effort to pack up and return...

This was potentially a decent peice of furniture but arrived damaged. The entire back was cracked in half. Since the boxes were so incredibly heavy we decided to pass on returning it and cut Overstock a break (we are very happy customers usually). My very handy man put it together in a few hours and their is some wood that is real, mostly particle type board. It fit our 26 inch TV perfectly at the top shelf. The drawers are big enough and when we get the scratches out it will actually be a simple but handsome peice of furniture....but it is scratched all over the place....kind of like a scratch and dent buy...overall though because of the perfection of size and color we are happy with it...

We purchased the armoire to match a furniture set that we bought a few years ago. We had some trouble finding something to match the wood in stores in our areas, but this matched perfectly. Although the assembly took my husband a while, he was able to assemble it on his own with no help. It looks nice and holds quite a bit. It was a perfect fit for our bedroom!

Needing a very specific sized armoire, I was delighted to find the answer at Overstock and ordered the Everett Expresso. It was difficult to assemble, but more disappointing was the quality. Not up to the quality of other items I have purchased from Overstock.

I ordered the armoire and the matching nightstand. The assembly came together great; the directions were relatively simple. The panels and doors are particleboard but the legs that run up the sides and the piece that fits on the top are heavy, nice quality wood. I was looking for an alternative to a dresser because I hate having to dig through different drawers to find my clothes. This is great because when I open the doors I'm staring at a stack of all my clean clothes and i can pick through them easily. You can't tell from the picture but it does come with a rod for hanging clothes and the shelf can be placed at many different heights. I wish it came with an extra shelf instead of the rod, personally. I think I will take the shelf to a hardware store and see about making my own 2nd shelf. I would recommend this to anybody in a second
