I just got the refurbished one couple weeks ago. I am having such fun cleaning my house. First, I tackled old radiators-Gosh what a steam power. The radiators look radiant! Second, I tackled the cloth window blinds- What a job this little one did. The yellow spots are gone!! I don't even have to replace the blinds. Third, I worked on the bath room tiles and grout lines. Remember those hard to clean next to the wall area?? This little monster made the area looks like new. It also clean hard to reach toilet seat. Toady, I finished cleaning shower doors with steam squeezie. I even attempted to clean those wire storage shelfs in my laundry room. Oh, forgot to mention that I also steam clean my WHITE carpet for 3 bedroom and not just spot clean. You must think this woman has gone MAD!! I have so much fun, I can't wait for spring time to arrive for me to tackle patio set and all the windows. With the money you paid for this machine, I strongly remmend the purchase. Yes there is inconvenient of carrying the product around. But once you get into the cleaning mode and see the dirt running away for the steam, you will forget about inconvenience. VERY GOOD VALUE!!Have fun cleaning!

I love it! it works like a dream, the only thing is I wish the wand had another attachement to make it longer to reach higher places.

Hard to hold and clean too. Small openings for steam, small brush, etc. Gets hot and has good steam, it's just real awkward to use.

This is the worst steam mop ever. It constantly drips scalding water EVERYWHERE. It gets the floor sopping wet and is very difficult to handle. It constantly rolls over on its side like a lap dog. I have ordered many items from overstock but this is the first time I've been unhappy with a product. I finally put it out with the trash, it was to much of a hassle to return.

I bought the Euroflex Monster SC-55 Plus Steam Cleaner (Refurbished) last year, Dec. 5. I used it, maybe a dozen times. It was rather weak and flimsy compared to the steam cleaner I owned before (a DeLonghi -- no longer available -- which I had for a dozen years before it wore out), but the little Euroflex was useful for cleaning the kitchen. ***** All in all, I would say I was happy with it -- it helped me clean around the house, and I got it for a very good price from Overstock.com. Today, Dec. 15, I got it out to use in cleaning the oven. It doesn't heat up -- when the steam cleaner is plugged in, the green light goes on, but the steamer does not heat up, at all. (The way it works is that the green light goes on with the steam cleaner is plugged in, and then goes on when it reaches steam cleaning temperature). ***** I communicated with overstock.com via CHAT. I am past the manufacturer's warranty by 10 days. Probably I'm out of luck, but overstock promised send me contact information for the manufacturer. If something good comes of this, I'll amend or add to this review! (and sing the praises of overstock.com, and of the manufacturer).

Like many women I don't love house-cleaning BUT I do love my house clean. I was shocked to see the amount of icky grime come off of every surface I used my new little friend on. The steam gets in and under places you cannot get with toothbrushes or toothpicks. Amazing value! The only complaint I can say about my purchase were the brushes on the grout tool were completely gone within the first twenty-four hours of use. I still recommend this whole heartedly. Two of my neighbors have purchased them and are as excited and addicted as I am. We may have to start a group of Steamers Anonymous if we can't get our cleaning uinder control.

This steam cleaner is akward to handle and assemble. It takes patience and time to get it to work. I got so frustrated with it that I gave it tod the free stuff pile to let some one else tinker with it. It looks well built and effecient. But it is not easy to use.

Cleans great. Cleaned oven, tile floor, wood floor, shower, sinks, inside of washer/dryer! Only negative is the awkwardness of holding it. I put the strap over my shoulder & the steamer flops around. When placed on the floor, the steamer tips over to the side. Otherwise, I like this best for mopping the floors. Especially the hardwood. Floors come out sparkling. Since I use this weekly, I would recommend it.

To much water pours out when using. Would send it back but not worth the trouble.

This steamer got up old stains I thought would be impossible to remove. Cleans grout amazingly easy. Great in bathrooms and Kitchens. Even blasted mess I couldn't see around and under baseboards. It came with all the advertised attachments and one cleaning rag. I Love this cleaning tool!

I used this item last week for the first time to steam clean vinyl, wood, and ceramic floors. In addition I used it on the shower, the toilets, the bathroom and kitcken sinks, laundry sink, and the drapes. Very easy to use. The exchanging of tool attachments was fast and easy. I think it was an excellent buy for the money.

I waited anxiously for this steamer. I tried it on my carpet stains with less than satisfying results. So I moved onto my shower with little results. Lastly I tried it on my floors but found that I had to be on my hands and knees to use it!! It did not come with an extension tube....just a hose! The water ran out well before my stains were gone and the cord was much too short to freely turn.

With the reviews I read I thought I was getting the answer to my cleaning problems. It does work for around hard to reach areas, but if you are looking for something to clean bath tubs keep looking and let me know what you find. It does put out some good steam, but it seems to need to be hotter. It could use a longer hose. I find myself carrying the unit quite a bit. The instructions do say that you may need to use some other cleaning solutions before using the steam cleaner. I will keep it for other cleaning around the house.

I had been looking for a steam mop to use on my real wood floors (sealed) . I have these floors through out a 1400sf house, and needed something really good. I promise you I kept this in my cart for almost 10 days before I broke down and got it...I searched all over the net and checked out reviews on most everykind of steam machine made, I decided on this one so that if it didn't do my floors, I could use it somewheres else....I broke down and ordered it and it was here in two days...I started cleaning the next day, I did floors, windows, stove, microwave, and fridge.....I have used this machine at least 3times a week since 12/19/08.....It does a great job on odors and sticky stuck on stuff on floor...I used old towels instead of the rags that came with the machine.....It heats up quick and stays hot..The drawbacks are few, when you steam clean things have you a rag ready to clean up what will come off. lol, yes, the water does drain out of the hose before the steam I let mine sit in the tub till it's ready....people say cord is too short, well I use a orange heavy duty extension cord and it goes everywhere with me...look this is a great product for this little bit of money, you will also save a ton of money when you don't have to buy all that cleaning stuff anymore either..I LOVE MINE...oh yeah I use the detail brush on the floor when needed to get up a really tough spot....You can't go wrong with this...

After reading all the reviews on this I decided to purchase it. It does clean windows well .It also got gum out of a car mat .Not really happy with the floor cleaning for tile.Akward to use canister, haven't really used it alot yet .It doesn't clean the grout as good as I thought it would .It would be easier to hand scrub the grout first. It did lighten up an old stain in my carpet but will not clean up the juice stain. I think myself i would of been happier finding a scrubber for hard surface cleaning, I Was trying to find something that would keep me from scrubbing floor on hands & knees &using the swifter mop. I'm glad I bought the cheaper model to try first.

The steam cleaner is very compact and is good for spot cleaning rugs and stains on carpet. I returned mine because it was a little tiresome when you are trying to clean a large area. I would recommend this cleaner for someone with smaller areas or hard to get to places to clean.

I have a lot of hardwood and tile with carpet in the bedrooms. When I bought this steam mop my mother said,"surely you're not buying something else to clean your floors". I have purchased so many mops, gadgets, etc. to find an easier way of keeping my floors clean. And when I say clean, I don't mean pushing dirt around and letting it dry back on my floor! I want CLEAN floors and this little steamer does the job for me! And the spots on my carpet are gone! I just house-broke a puppy and had urine spots on my almost white carpet. I put the steamer to work and my husband and I can't believe that we actually got those spots out, even my mom was impressed! I had tried every cleaner that I could get my hands on, who would have guessed that just steam would get those organic stains out. I only wish that I had spent the extra money and gotten the model on wheels. Carrying the canister around is a little burdensome, although it's light. And I use a soft hand towel when I mop instead of the pad that came with it.

THIS PRODUCT PERFORMED AS ADVERTISED. IT CAME WITH ALL THE TOOLS IN FACT THERE WAS AN EXTRA SET OF THE SMALL TOOLS. WE USED IT IN OUR SHOWER STALL AND IT CLEANED THE GROUT VERY WELL. THE INSTRUCTIONS SAY WIPE IMMEDIATELY AFTER STEAMING. I INITIALLY NEGLECTED TO DO THIS AND SOON REALIZED THAT THE GOOK STUCK TO THE TILES AND WAS HARD TO GET OFF. AS LONG AS YOU WIPE IMMEDIATELY IT IS NOT A PROBLEM. ONE TANK FULL LASTS FOR OVER 40 MINUTES AND THE COOLING OFF TIME AND REUSE IS LESS THAN 15 MINUTES. I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT WHEN REMOVING THE TANK CAP THAT YOU TAKE THE PRECAUTION TO PLACE A TOWEL OVER IT WHILE YOU ARE REMOVING IT. IT SERVES TWO PURPOSES FIRST IT INSURES THAT IF THERE'S A STEAM RELEASE YOU WILL NOT BE HARMED AND SECOND THE CAP CAN BE VERY HOT TO THE TOUCH. I USED IT ON THE SHOWER GLASS AS WELL AND IT REMOVED WATER RESIDUE AND SPOTS AND IT DID A GOOD JOB. THIS PRODUCT IS A GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY!

I barely started to use it but so far so good. It performed great the first time I used it. I have continued to use it and I'm not disappointed. The pressure is good and the water temperature is hot enough to clean and desinfect. I read a lot of reviews about many other steam machines and after a long search I think I found a good one. Very pleased with the price and quality.

Good value since you can use this for floors, bathtubs, windows, and any other small cleaning projects, especially baby toys. It's very cumbersome to hold while mopping with it since the canister has to be held by the shoulder strap and it flops around everywhere. Also, since it's refurbished you may find you don't have all the parts. I got one dirty, used rag, not 2 clean ones.
