As a first time buyer to Overstock.com I was completely satisfied with the product and its performance, I would definely order again and have also told friends and family about this site.
After my Shark died, I looked for several months for the appropriate replacement. Not until I found this on Overstock was my void fulfilled. The only bad thing is that it gets very hot and I have to turn it off to cool down every five minutes. But since it's for detailing anyway, that's not a bother.
The unit has fair suction. It is powerful when held closely to the matter to be vacuumed, but it has a LOW flow rate, meaning even a short distance away the vacuum is very weak.
We use the vacuum to remove pesky fruit-flies and at about 2-3 inches from the nozzle, most of these tiny flies can escape the vacuum, something they could not do when we used our old (now broken) cordless hand-vacuum.
The vacuum is quite noisy and has a very high "starting torque". Unless you hold on well when you start it up, it wants to twist out of your hand. We are in our eighties and it DID jump out of my wife's grip, the first time she used it.
It is very effective to suck up debris from carpets and floors, provided you can get close to it.
We would probably purchase it again and with the caveats, recommend it to friends..
