Cutest little vacuum in the whole wide world. Disappointingly powerless. I couldn't find info on the voltage before I bought it, only 4.8V. BUT.. since it has a rotating brush, which is what I wanted the most, I can vacuum my rugs with it, without having to get the big vacuum out. That's what I needed the most. The rotating brush end snaps off and there is a crevice tool as well. It's pretty quiet too. I wouldn't really recommend it, but if what I use it for is what you might need, then it would probably work for you.

good for the car but .. very weak vacuuming power not very practical/useful batteries don't last very long

Tiny collection compartment means only works for about 5 minutes before you have to stop to clear it out and rotating brush quickly gets caught up on long hair -- not a good buy for pet owners or long-haired lasses.

I got this to clean up little messes between regular vacuuming and couldn't be more pleased. As advertised, it charges in less than an hour by simply plugging in to an outlet - no cradle or special charger required, making it easy to store out of sight. At 4.8 V, it doesn't have the power that some other handhelds do. But the rotating brush does a great job on rugs and upholstery - even picks up fine cat hair. It's cute as can be, too - I'm about to order another for the second floor!

I ordered this product to use in my mini van. With three children and two dogs my van needs regular vacuuming. This is a chore that rotates between my three children and they love the Shark. It's light, easy to use and empty and works very well, it even gets the dog hair up! We use it all the time in the house for little, quick clean-ups as well.
