* It was a great price! * It is a gorgeous vacuum! That's important! Who wants to do dull, boring housework with a dull, boring product? An attractive vacuum makes ME feel oh so much happier when using it. So I was thrilled when I opened the box. * But ah...I was a bit surprised when I used it. It is supposed to be a high power vacuum for its size, but it was so quiet and the suction seemed weak. I live in an apartment and I can use it it in the middle of the night without having to worry about disturbing anyone. Hmmm...but keep on reading. * I was unhappy when I read the instructions and discovered that the cord has lead in it, and that one is supposed to wash one's hands after using it. Huh. I'd never heard of that. But OK. So I wash my hands. * Another disappointment was that one can ONLY purchase vacuum bags - a minimum of 25 bags for about $25 plus shipping - directly from the company that makes this vacuum. I checked around and there is no other way to get these bags. But I was not about to return the vacuum, so I went ahead and ordered them. * And now for the big surprise! When I checked to see if I needed to change bags, BOY was it ever full! I had only used it 3 times! Granted the house had been a bit filthy but I would never have imaged that this small, relatively quiet vacuum had the capacity to actually pick up so much dirt! So there you have it! It's beautiful and more powerful than meets the eye (or ear). One can feel a bit grumpy about having to order the vacuum bags, but all in all this is a good deal.

Just received the Shark canister today. I was looking for a small canister simply for hardwoods and stairs. I am pleasantly surprised, esp considering the price. Good suction, easy to use and some nice features like the retractable cord and the full bag indicator light. It's much lighter than the old Dirt Devil that this replaced...but still had a nice amount of power. My only concern is there are no replacement bags included and I truly hope Shark doesn't stop making them. I found a pack of 25 online for $24.95 + shipping cost, so I will be purchasing them right away.

This little thing is kind of dinky looking, and the bags are downright petite - but I haven't had to change it yet, and I have cleaned quite a lot with it. Despite its teeny appearance, it is a very reliable piece of machinery - it is flexible and manueverable, and it is very lightweight, and has wheels. It has decent suction for such a tiny tool as well. Overall I give it a very good rating!

It is very cheaply made and doesn't work very well. I would recommend it. It was very disappointing.

I love this silly little vacuum. We own several more expensive vacuums but everyone wants to use this one on the wood and tile floors. It's light, it follows you around easily and it does a great job. The only down sides are that the cord could be longer, but we just leave an extension cord on it, and the bags are small, but so is the unit so that's to be expected. We are a family of 5 with a cat and 3 dogs and we have used this unit non-stop for over two years and it still works as well as day one!

The lid for the bag broke the first week I had it. The unit itself works okay for hardwood flooring which is why I bought it. The wand comes apart a lot when I am vacuuming. You get what you pay for.

Great unit. However, if they have a better distribution system for their bags/filters, that would be make life better. Had one of their earlier EuroPro units and used it for years until I could not get their bags anymore so I had to buy their new units.

I bought this vacuum and the second cleaning the plastic head broke. I was able to "band-aid" it for a 3rd cleaning but it was broke beyond repair after that. Don't waste your money. The pole connecting the head is plastic and breaks. It's not worth it. Spend a little more money and save yourself the aggravation.

THIS IS A JOKE.THE PRICE IS REAL GOOD ,BUT IT ALREADY HAS CRACK IN THE HOSE.THE FLOOR ATTACHMENT WILL NOT STAY ON ,NO MATTER WHAT.I HAVE HAD IT LESS THAN 3 WEEKS AND TO SEND IT BACK COST HALF OF THE PURCHASE PRICE, SO I AM STUCK WITH THIS JUNK.

this vacuum really really sux. Does great! Easy to move around, quiet, works well, and is fairly quiet. Good machine.

First, I was supposed to have it in blue and it came in orange. The compartment panel is bent, doesn't fit on vacuum properly. This does not pick up like the euro pro original models did.

i thought this would be a great vacuum that could easily be stored in a small closet. it does store easily, but it didn't work that well, and it died. ** it actually didn't work that well on rugs. it does well on my hardwoods, but i had to keep vacuuming the same spots of rug over an over. it doesn't pick up small bits of misc fuzz at all. it does, however, do a great job of picking up medium-sized light things that i could have easily picked up by hand. ** this morning, i started to vacuum my main rug. i plugged in the vacuum and hit the on button. it made a short vroom sound and shut off. i'd only used it twice. ** overstock.com was quite sympathetic and offered to send a replacement. i don't think i want another one of these. i can't recommend this vacuum.

It works good for hardwood floors. It comes apart to easy and tips over easily

I just ran this vacuum for less than one minute. That's all I could stand of the asphyxiating STENCH it blew into the room. I am sending it back immediately. I have a pretty strong stomach, but running this thing for less than 60 seconds has contaminated the air in my tiny apartment. I only picked up a few sunflower seeds on the floor with the end of the hose. The suction is OK, but how anyone could possible keep their breakfast in their stomachs after using one of these is beyond comprehension. Also, this is NOT a Ero-Pro vac! This is something called a "Fantom". There is nothing phantom about the disgusting odor it has left in my apartment after LESS THAN 60 SECONDS USE!!! If you have an enemy, you may want to buy them one of these as a "gift". I even bought the 2 yr. replacement plan because I thought it was a Euro-Pro, as is advertised, and I had excellent luck with them in the past. This thing literally stinks and will contaminate your air. Also, it is NOT the bag, as that is a new paper one.

I bought the vacuum for our travel trailer and it works well for that purpose. I'm not sure I would use it full time in the house, but it is a good value for the money.

One of my best purchases online, and I do shop online quite a lot. :-) A GODSEND with my two Pomeranians and a bad back to struggle with heavy weight upright vacuums. Powerful, light and efficient - does the job of a huge vacuum with 1/5 of the weight and the same power - 10 AMPS.

I'm very happy with this purchase. I have two birds and a dog and use it for cleaning up after them on my Pergo floors. I hope I won't have trouble finding the bags when it comes time.

This vacuum is a great little vacuum but I didn't read the directions before use so didn't pay attention that you were only supposed to pull the cord out to the red mark. So now the cord will not rewind which is a pain but it's still a good little vacuum :)

nice sweeper had one before and this is my second one.Small and easy to get around with.
