concept is good but blade did not cut my hedge even at the smallest section.

It appears to a very light duty trimmer, not intended for constant use. It will only cut very small twigs but for trimming shoots on the top of tall shrubs, it is fine.there is no trigger lock to hold down the trigger as every other trimmer has

The Euro Pro Fantom 'Extender' Hedge Trimmer arrived in good condition. It works as described and has uses that I am sure the manufacturer did not consider. For example, I am using it to clear tumbleweed from my yard. For that, I have to use the trimmer upside-down and close to the ground, rather than overhead. Still, it works well.There are a few things to consider. There are a few covers and clips that are not very sturdy and easily lost. Also, the manufacturer does not mention that the blades should really be oiled after each use. WD40 seems to work just fine. Otherwise, this is a really cool little unit.
