I gave away my microwave 2 years ago and have only used an oven. Oven heat is expensive for making such things as toast. I never wanted a toaster and really dispared at having to have a huge toaster over on my countertop. This unit has a small footprint and very nice design. I LOVE IT. I use it daily now and don't know how i got along without a toaster oven. I just can't figure out why there is a solid metal tray and also 2 wire racks. I use the metal tray exclusively - never the wire racks. Note that the metal tray needs to be covered with foil in order not to become encrusted with drippings. The unit heats up very quickly and browns evenly. I love all the settings and don't feel anything takes too long to cook. I was skeptical about purchasing a refurbished unit but am completely happy.

I wanted a basic toaster oven. I only use this to toast bagels and make pizza. It works absolutely fine. The only thing is the toast takes a little longer than a regular toaster. Great value for the money.

bachelor with oven misfiring' got 4 biscuits etc, is woking just like they said. am glad i bought it.
