This vacuum has great power. The first time I used it I was surprised at how much it picked up. The only drawback is that it is a little heavy. But I'm happy with it.

Purchased this vacuum about 6 months ago and it was great for about 1 month and now it is constantly clogged. I have to unclog it and pull it apart about every week. I have given up on this vacuum! I WOULD NOT recommend this vacuum to anyone.

I recently purchased the Eureka Capture Plus HEPA Pet Lover Bagless Vacuum and this is a great buy, folks. I hate to say the word, but this vacuum SUCKS - really, we could not believe how much stuff we removed from recently vacuumed carpeting! The onboard tools are great and this is a cinch to clean. The machine is a bit heavy for me, but other than that, we cannot say enough good things about this product. The price was great and the offer of a two year warranty makes any person feel safe in purchasing this vacuum. As for durability, I only gave it four stars, because I have not had it long enough to see how long it will hold up. If you have any hangups about purchasing this vacuum cleaner, forget them now. Overstock.com came through for us again.

this vacuum is quite powerful. It's loud and heavy but does the job. since my old vacuum wasn't doing a fab job, this vacuum is picking up all that old dirt. all and all, a good vacuum.

Best vacuum I have ever owned and used when it comes to cleaning up pet hairs. It is loud but it does the job. It is easy to use.

It is just a very poor vaccuum cleaner. I would not recommend it to anyone. I'm giving mine away to my tenant college students. I will read some professional reviews before purchasing another sweeper

I have gone through about 4 vacuums in the last few years and nothing works like this one. I was having problems with cat hair. After I would vacuum, then I would have to go over the area with a lint brush. It would take me hours to do one room. I was so tired of it that I finally decided to get a new one that was recommended for pets. I did read through the reviews and saw where this vacuum is heavier than others. I liked that due to my carpets being so plush I was having a really hard time getting them clean. It is a heavier machine. However, if you are looking for one that can clean; its well worth the weight. Its easy to put together, only 4 screws and directions are simple. I like the cord being long and the hose is also long so if you want to get a corner or under a table its easy with the longer hose. The best part, when you have animal hair and its long it will usually roll along the carpet and your vacuum never picks it up. This machine has a pet brush. I just pulled that puppy out and slapped it on the end of the hose and Poof! the cat hair was gone. It does such a great job at vacuuming you fell good when you get through. It actually smells cleaner. This machine is perfect for my needs. I can't wait to tackle my car. I have not been able to get the dog hair off the back seat but with the special pet brush; I think it will come up in a snap. Another great feature, no bags! You just unlatch the canister and dump. I was going through a bag a week and now, its money saved. The filters are also easy to clean and you don't have to replace them. Just pop them out and rinse. I really love this vacuum and it fits my needs so Im very pleased with it. If you have a bad back or are use to a smaller, light weight machine, dont get this one. It does have the weight behind it to get the job done.

We have two cats so I wanted something designed specifically for pet hair. We have about 2/3 tile and 1/3 carpet in our house, so working on different flooring was a major influence in our purchase. It is also very dusty here in west Texas so dirt pick up and HEPA filtration was a consideration too. This vacuum worked great at first. We were so happy with our purchase. Immediately I noticed that it worked better on carpet than the tile. However, the performance on the tile was better than vaccums past...So I was ok with it. In the first couple of months the handle (which also holds the cord when wrapped up) broke. The first 2 times or so I cleaned out the filters the vacuum seemed to work just ok afterward. The 'performance' light came on within 18 months and I took that as a clue to purchase new filters.... which I did.. and installed them. Even after all brand new filters, the 'performance' light is still on. I do like the design and concept...and ease of operations. Empyting out the little canister gives a great perspective of how dirty your house really is and how much the vacuum is picking up... But it was difficult at times to get all of the dirt out. The suction has severly diminished... It's just another product of obsolesent marketing I guess...

Its got all the bells ans whistles and really does a great job, wow does it suck up a lot of dust and dirt! A little heavy so watch your toes! Just received it.. so far so good. Bagless too which is nice.

It reall y does get everything out of your rug...Have had a problem with it plugging up the second week I got it but I cleaned it out and it ran fine. The belt broke this week so hopefully i can find the right belt .

While I have no problem ordering refurbished items, this time it did not work in my favor. This vacuum may be great when it is brand new but I found that the dial to switch from hard floor to carpet did not work and therefore did not suck up anything from the carpet, just pushed it around. I also noticed that once I started vacuuming there was a strong odor of someone else's pet. I had hoped that this would taper off but the smell did not go away. I have returned this item for a new Bissell.

Suction is ok. Cleaning is ok. Ok is not enough but ok for price.

I am very impressed with this product. It arrived much quicker than I thought, especially during the time of a mad rush this past December. The vacuum cleaner performed all the tasks it was designed to perform and really vacuumed all the dirt and debris. Great!

I bought this vacuum for my daughter who has a cat and a large breed dog who both shed something aweful. She says its the best vacuum she has every used. Plus its easy to use and to clean!

i bought one for my son last year and one for my lake house this year (lot's of dogs at both places!) i am a clean floor freak and this is a great vacuum!

I like the Eureka it does a good job , but it is way to heavy for me and the weight is all in the handle.

Wow what can I say. I'm left speachless at the cleanliness of my floors. I do have to say that if you have pets and kids you'll have to clean out the vaccum alot. I vaccum one room partially and have to clean it out. Also found that you can wash the filter. That happened after the first two times I vaccumed. It is amazing and cleans up everything. Its not a light vaccum but light vaccums don't clean up your floors either. I highly recommend you buy this for yourself and possibly a family member. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs and they shed constantly. After I vaccum it looks like I have new carpet.! will never go to another brand again.

Fantastic machine. This is great for small and large jobs, picks up great and is easy to clean and maintain. I did a big cleaning job on my antique furniture that had been in a not so great storage unit for two years. The Eureka picked up all the dust from every portion of the furniture prior to oiling the heck out of it, but most importantly, the fabric portions of the furniture looked better than ever after using the handy features of this machine. I absolutely love the ease and performance. It picks up pet hair as indicated beautifully, too! It works fabulously on the carpet and is super easy to move directly to the hard floors while cleaning the whole house.You won't be sorry for this one.

We bought this vacuum cleaner and absolutely love it! We have a combination of concrete and carpets throughout our house and this vacuum works great on both! I also really love the upholstery cleaning attachment, though I was disturbed to see how much dog hair that came off our sofa! This vacuum is a bit heavier than our last one, but the wheels glide very easily so I don't really have a problem with it, though it might be kind of heavy for people that need to drag it up and down stairs.
