Eureka Capture Plus Bagless HEPA Upright Vacuum

I've had this vacuum for about a month and it works well. I like that it has good power. It's good on bare floors and carpet (in fact, you can adjust the height of the roller depending on whether you're using it on bare floor or carpet, which makes pushing it easier). I also like that all of the attachments fit neatly onto the unit itself. You don't have to store them separately eliminating the need to walk back and forth from the room that you're vacuuming to get a needed attachment. This is my first bagless vacuum and I like that aspect alot. I thought the dust would fly around the room when I emptied the canister but it doesn't. And no need to remember what kind of bag to buy.The negatives are that it has a long cord that doesn't retract so you have to keep it out of the way of the suction. Also, it squeaks a bit when I roll it around the room. This may be because the vacuum I purchased is refurbished, but the squeaking is kind of loud and annoying. Maybe it just needs some WD-40?

Shipping was faster than I expected. Love the vacuum, it sucks up everything! I didn't know how dirty my house was until I vacuumed with this vaccum cleaner. I had recently vacuumed with my old Kirby and vacuumed right away once I received my new Eureka (refurbished actually). To my surprise, I filled up half the container with dust from vacuuming! I love it!

all the reviews were right - this is a really great vacuum!! we have 2 cats, 1 dog, and 3 kids - the vacuum got everything! it's slightly heavier than other vacuums we've had, but worth the effort since it does such a great job picking up all the pet hair. i love the color too - a lot better than the drab grey vacuums of yore.

I have 3 cats, 3 dogs, 4 grandchildren and a husband so you can imagine the messes. This vaccum is beyond words. It just cleans everything instantly. I have never been so impressed in a vaccum in my life. When it gets through in a room you know the room is clean. I tried the damp hand test. I have all long hairs and they shed unreal....so I vaccumed like I normally do..........got my hands damp and rubbed them all over the carpet to see if it really picked up the hair. I did not get one hair on my hands. It works great on furnitue and the edger is awesome. I love the duster. You dust with it, stick it back where it goes and push the button and it cleans the duster instantly. This vaccum is worth a lot more than I paid for it. It even cleans concret floors, tile, and vinyl floors.
