Weighing less than 14 pounds, this lightweight canister vacuum easily gets into spaces where pet hair can linger and roll into dust bunnies. The Pet Power Paw attachment is great at removing pet hair from carpet and upholstery. Its plastic teeth loosen it, a rubber strip grabs it, and the bristles remove it.     We had two apartments, one in NYC and one upstate, and bought one of these pet vans for each one. They work great on hardwood floors. We don't have rugs because of the dog hair issue. This works fabulously, is very lightweight, and easy to get out and put away.
