We were thrilled to find this table at such an excellent price (we had done A LOT of shopping around for patio furniture and square tables are hard to come by.) It arrived quickly and, while it did take my husband a few hours to put together, it wasn't complicated just time consuming. The finished set is very attractive and sturdy. The chairs are a little smaller than they look in the picture (not very deep) but it saves space nicely and they are not uncomfortable. The edges of the table tend to swell a bit when it gets wet (we've had SO much rain this year) but, as soon as the table dries out, everything goes back to normal. I have never been disappointed by an Overstock purchase and this table is no exception.

This is a great table and the wood it great, however the backs are very straight and not so comfortable for long period of sitting and lounging.

I ordered the furniture on a Sunday and received a call Thursday they’d be delivering Friday! Each piece came individually boxed and in perfect condition. We asked our neighbor to put the table and chairs together since I had read the other reviews commenting on assembly. He did not need a drill and said the holes were all correct. He DID say it took a couple of hours to get the table and eight chairs assembled. However, he said once he had the first one together, he really had no trouble with the others. They look great! The chairs seem pretty sturdy and the table is really pretty. It’s slatted on top. I couldn’t tell that from the picture; I assumed it was solid wood except for the hole for an umbrella. I rubbed teak oil on the set. The rain just “beads up” and the water hasn’t affected the wood at all.

Assembly of the chairs was a nightmare, Holes were not drilled properly, were too small...my hands are in agony from trying to manipulate the allen wrenches....haven't even looked at the table yet, I like the look of the chairs, at lest I would if I could get them together.YIKES

You definitely need a power drill to put this together. Your hand will fall off if you rely on the provided allen wrench. All predrilled holes lined up perfectly. The material is of high quality. The chairs are definitely tight sitting around the table. We placed two chairs to the side. For our family of six this is a good set. A family of eight should look for something more spacious. I am concerned with the longevity of the small slats on the table top. Will have to wait and see how they fair.

We have this set for 2 years. It's awsome. All, you need to do is power wash it and re-oil it and it looks brand new. Love it. Very sturdy too

This is a beautiful patio set with a lot of surface area and room for 8. The quality is very good ( all wood and solidly constructed). My negative comment would be regarding the assembly- a set this size took forever to assemble AND it Wa's compounded because instead of standard philips head screws , the set has allen type ( it includes a small Allen wrench, but I would have preferred to use an electric screwdriver to speed up the process). Also, the package was damaged and repackaged so upon initial inspection, there Wa's no visible damage, but the main table was in a box within a box, and the inner box was damaged. The result is a slightly rounded corner, but it should have been disclosed to me by the shipper. It just feels dishonest.

We have really enjoyed this product. The table and chairs are really beautiful and much less expensive than teak. The quality is reall nice.

Beautiful table. Even prettier than the picture. Maybe a bit snug for 8 people at once, but so nice anyway. Took hubby 4 hours to put it all together.

Beautiful wood dining set, sturdy, yet very good looking, The first table was damaged during shipping, but the ladies at customer service found another one, and it arrived within a few days. Probably won't get chance to use the set before spring now, as we're surrounded by lots of snow, but we're excited and can't wait. Another top rate product from Overstock. Many thanks!

This set is a great value compared with so many of the 8 piece square sets we looked at - it is also a bit smaller than most out there, which was great for us because our deck is on the small side. Agree with the other posts that the chairs are difficult and time consuming to put together, but they seem pretty sturdy - some aren't quite level though. Only thing i would say is that the arm rests seem a bit low for the average person & we don't even have cushions for them, they'd be even lower with cushions on - just a bit awkward to me. We have had the set through a full summer here in the northeast, and the set has weathered - as the instructions say, it will need to be sanded/refinished, but we knew this when we bought it, and are ok with that.

Very nice value for money with this set. The wood seems very strong and the color is very nice. When putting the chairs together, my husband came up with the idea to break the tool off so it would fit into a cordless drill. That made assembly SO MUCH QUICKER. We have only had the set for a couple of months, but I feel it's going to last a long time especially with the cover we bought. We bought the large rectangular cover from Overstock that fits well. You can only slide 4 chairs under the table at a time, which forms a rectangle. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product.

I am so delighted with this set , exactly what I wanted after extensive research. It is on our outdoor deck, where we do most of our entertaining here in San Diego. The set is sturdy without being cumbersomely heavy. It is not overly huge for seating 8 and yet roomy. It took some doing to put it together. My daughter(, an architect), my son,( very handy guy) and my daughter's husband,( also an architect) worked on it for 3 hours together. They had fun , although challenged at times. The wood is a nice color and finish. It looks marvelous and we use it all the time.

The product arrived quickly. Would not recommend purchasing this if you don't have the patience to put a lot of pieces together. A couple of holes were not drilled for proper assembly. Some of the chairs sit just a bit unevenly. I wish there was a little bit more space between chairs on each side. As is, the chairs sit in almost right up against each other. Overall, the furniture looks good besides these minor details. You get what you pay for. It doesn't say in the description that there is a hole in the middle of the table for an umbrella.

The table came in and is excellent. shipping was very fast and overstock was great, as usual. I waited too long and they sold out of the table the first time, so I put my name on the email list and they emailed me when it came in. I ordered it that day, and it sold out the next! The table was shipped via freight, delivered to my garage. Assembly of the chairs took some time, but i did not have any issues. I would HIGHLY recommend using a power drill with a hex bit and not the little allen keys included with the set. I put all of the chairs together within 2 hours. If you are on the fence between Eucalyptus and Teak - don't hesitate. This table is top notch - it looks good, is sturday and is the perfect side for our deck.

I assambled the product in about 2 hours, very easy and accurate; I had to improvise a tool to use the power drill in stead of the allen wrench and it was so much easyer. It arrived in less than a week all in all a five star

we bought this because we needed a table for our new vacation home -- thought if we didn't like it inside, we'd move it outside. turns out it is really nice -- bought some pads for the seats and all was good. great for game playing too... but hole in the middle. should have guessed since it is an outside table. might still get another dining set but realy nice buy. lots of chairs to put together, however!
